I've been testing and configuring this for a couple of days and its seems promising. My only issue at the moment is the "search choice screen" which appears when Chrome is launched. This disappears if you redirect a couple of folders in Group Policy to their H drives - this then creates a folder called "DEFAULT" and a couple of system files - First Run and LocalState. How have you guys done it? I'm guessing you could copy these files into the pupil mandatory profile?

Which version of Android are you using? I found quality really improved when I went from 2.1 to 2.2.

I'd certainly have a word with the site manager, they might throw you one up FOC, although you don't really need a completely clear line of sight. If you do it yourself, don't join the co-ax. You'll never get a watertight seal and end up with signal degradation. And with digital you need all the strength you can get.

That's just a really lame stereotype. If they were so bad, why are there so many on the road all across Europe? I've had about 40 cars in my driving lifetime (I like change!) and the Peugeots have been the most reliable. The faults I've encountered have always been because of poor maintenance and usually boil down to a bad earth connection in the engine bay.

My recommendation would be a Peugeot 307 diesel. Either the 1.6 HDI if you're after a fairly new one, or a 2.0 HDI if its a little older. Both offer a similar power output, although I expect the 1.6 will be in the cheaper tax bracket. You'd have no bother getting 60 mpg from them, and they're incredibly comfortable - especially if you get an LX model with the front armrests.

Tired of fake Java redirects reporting on our AV server because of IE, what's the best / easiest to deploy alternative browser out there? I'm looking mainly at Firefox, Opera and Chome. We use a proxy, have mandatory profiles but application data isn't redirected in any way. Are the portable versions any better than a standard install? I noticed there's a thread on Firefox deployment but its quite large and goes back a fair way, so wondered if there have been any recent developments which may make the task easier. TIA.

Try DFSUTIL /PURGEMUPCACHE GPUPDATE /FORCE I get the same error a while after I've rebooted my 2003 server. But running this sorts it.

Yep, I noticed it this morning too. It should be a simple Vbulletin setting to make sure its only visible to unregistered or not-logged-in users.
