Are the machines identical apart from W7 vs W10?

Is it running as a VM? If so, clone it, test it, see what breaks. If not, P2V it then goto above.

Yes, best practice is something like ad.domain.whatever. If you're going to integrate with Office 365 you definitely want to do it this way to avoid the need to do this sort of faffing about.

Agreed, I do the same thing! As for Inventry, we're getting a VMS for our new site, and rejected Inventry on a cost and features basis. I realise it gets good reviews, but wasn't for us. Could you try playing one reseller off another to drive the price down?

I'm looking into this myself - my thought was going to be to calculate the transform applied to the image, and then apply the inverse (so that we end up back where we started!).
