Forza Horizon 3 Deluxe Edition, also tempted by Mafia 3 even though it hasn't been well received...

I had an email saying I had been approved for distribution of Flash within 48hrs! So not sure why they've taken over a week for yourself.

They apparently patched the PC version to improve performance on PC rigs some time in the last 2 weeks, I still can't run 60fps and the lag when tuning cars is still horrendous. But hey, I got my pre-order car at last!!

Hi all, Where can I obtain an .MSI for the latest version of Flash player, Adobe used to have a distribution page you could grab the .msi files from, but they seem to have put an end to that. Where can I get the latest version .msi from now? Thanks Liam

The minimum spec's are the highest I've seen on a game in a while. I've never seen a GTX970 get classed as minimum before!! I must say though my rig runs it pretty solidly at 30fps @1080p on ultra. I do get some stuttering in Surfers Paradise and a little in the forest during off road racing. Might just knock it down to high settings just to keep it at a solid 30fps, but those 2 areas are the only 2 I experience lag. Hit level 46 last night I think. I really have missed this game. I also hope they bring out a patch the fix the awful performance I think everyone gets in the Horizon Festivals when working on the cars (Engine, handling, body kits etc). That's reallllly painful at the minute!

Do we enter once and as a result get entered in all draws (unless we win in an earlier one I presume?) or do we have to re send the PM entry after each draw?

i5, 16GB RAM, MSI 970 here at 1080! Running at high 30fps.

I've got for it PC. Gamertag is L3OUGH. Hit level 32 last night. Loving it now they fixed the damn VIP/Car Pass PC users were having. Loving it! Can't run it at 60fps though without stuttering which is a little disappointing! Thought my rig would be able to handle it.

Maybe its worth taking another look at then if anyone in my friend lists actually still plays it!

Is it worth picking back up on PC yet? Have the blatant hackers been stopped yet? I haven't played since I completed the first incursion and got fed up of being killed by speed, ammo and god mode hackers running round.

I finished putting the Sherman tank together last night. Going to start on the Tiger tonight. Painting them is still scaring me!!

Seeing as this is the first set I've done in years I'll stick with the included paints, I've also started building the tracks of the tank so I've already start with glue they included! The kit came with a diorama and included some destroyed building, motorbikes etc. So I'll need to paint those, also I was wondering how people make the dirt/grass I've seen on some models, is it something I have to buy? Static grass or something? Also have you got any advice on how I could make the tanks look weathered? Obviously if I paint them they'll be all bright and shiny which won't portray the whole 'I'm in a war' feel very well! Haha or is weathering something that I need to leave till I have built a few more?

Hi all, I was just wondering if their were any modelers on EduGeek? I haven't done any model making for years and even when I did, I was a kid and it was nothing more than a simple build. However I was visiting Bovington's Tank Museum and there were volunteer modelers there with all sorts of models of WW1/WW2/Bike models etc. You name it, it was on show. Next thing I know I was in the shop purchasing an Airfix D-Day Battlefront set! (Airfix A50009 Battlefront Gift Set 1:76) So I'm a total rookie at this, are there any modelers here that can give any do's or don'ts? The kit included paints, are they going to be any good or would I be better off buying better quality ones? If so, which brand? Any essential kit I should get that will make things easier etc? Hi guys, I was wondering what you all use to monitor student use of iOS devices and what your honest opinions of them are? We currently use Policy Central on all the Windows PCs around school but after getting in touch about iOS coverage they sent me some information about their 'Futures Browser', which just looks like a browser app that monitors what's being typed and when a violation is captured only logs the iPad name. It will log a username if users are setup and they choose to login (Which they can opt to use without logging in). This isn't really suitable in a primary school as it will mean the students remembering another username and password for use with 1 browser on the iPads. It doesn't appear to monitor anything that is done outside of the app either. On the whole I was a bit disappointed with it... So was wondering what everyone else uses, if anything and what your honest thoughts were?? Is it similar to the Future Browser, do you have you students login to an app etc? Thanks Liam

I've no idea what I'm doing at all. I've not seen another ship at all yet. I wouldn't know where to go to find a 'ringed gas giant' either.. It took me about 2 hours to do the 1 mission as well as I had nothing to tell me how to do anything. 😂

I'll take a look, thanks. I'll see if I can get into it a little more first. I don't really know what I'm doing at the moment. I have earned about 70k from the mission I did, but have 0 idea where I go to get a better ship (If 70k would even cover the cost of a better ship), new guns or anything I can spend the credits on!

I bought Elite Dangerous. Not sure why really. Looks ok and was a spur of the moment kind of purchase. Managed to do 1 mission before the tension of landing my spaceship without crashing got to much and I quit. May get some time in later again.

I have DEP and Meraki MDM setup. How would I go about deploying VPP apps without the use of an Apple ID then? Most guides I've seen use an Apple ID. Would it be something like device licensing?

Hi all, This maybe a silly question, but I'm going to ask it anyway as I'd rather be safe than sorry as the saying goes. I have a query about purchasing licenses with a VPP account when syncing with Meraki MDM. The main question is this: How many licenses do I need to purchase from VPP? Here is my scenario: I have 2 Apple accounts. 1x VPP Account that does all the purchasing of apps and 1x normal Apple account used for installing the apps (This account is signed in on all the iPads for the App store under settings). Within MDM under the VPP section you have a User Management section. I have a user setup here and the normal Apple account is associated with this user. When you purchase a new app via VPP and do a sync with MDM you then assign one of those purchased licenses to a user within MDM then allowing you to push that app out to any device signed in with that user. However what I'm not quite clear on is whether I need to be purchasing 1 license from VPP for the one user I have associated with the iPads in MDM or 1 license per iPad the app is going to be installed on? Up till now the school have only requested 2 apps to be installed and both have been free. First time round I purchased 15 licenses as we have 15 iPads, synced with MDM assigned one of the 15 licenses to my user in MDM then pushed the app out to my 15 devices. Leaving 14 licenses unassigned. Second app I did exactly the same as above but only purchased 1 license, not 15. I still managed to push the app out to all 15 devices as the MDM user is associated with all 15 devices. This is what I expected. It was like someone purchasing an app at home and it syncing to their personal iPhone, iPad and iPad for example. So should I be buying 1 license (for the user in MDM to push the app out as it's signed in to every iPad) or should I be buying 15 (1 for each device). Again, apologies if this was an obvious question. Thanks Liam
