Well it's also been rumored that Alonso has said to McLaren, "it's me or the car". As in sort it out or I'm off next season. I don't blame him, he's currently wasted talent in that car.

About time we saw more bold and brave colours wizzing around the tracks! Also - Have you heard about the reasoning behind McLaren's poor engine reliability throughout testing? They've released a statement saying the engine was vibrating it's self to death! I'm amazed they haven't found sorted this earlier! Such a shame to see McLaren at the back

PC/X1/PS4??? I also picked up the deluxe edition yesterday for PC. Very demanding compared to Division which I can run maxed out. Wildlands I'm no where near running maxed, although very much enjoyed the first few hours last night!

They've just done the reveal. They are streaming it live on their YouTube channel.

Meanie But on a serious note, keep your current setup. Seeing high end parts thrown in a tiny case with no airflow gives me the shudders.

Get a hold of yourself. You must be ill or something. I adore my rig since you tipped me over the edge with the H440. The only thing I'd change about mine is switching from my 970 up to a 8GB 1070/1080. Which you have!! So stop being delusional and get a hold of yourself, OR SELL ME THAT 1080 ON THE CHEAP

We use Policy Central in the primary school across all the PCs, but the school does have some iPads. I've voiced my concern on this matter too, although Policy Central do offer an iPad monitoring software it is a bit rubbish. It was an app that had to be installed and this is what had to used instead of Safari for web browsing, also if the user doesn't logout of the session when finishing the next user just comes along and carriers on with authentication still showing as if its the original user still using the device. There isn't even any built session expiring etc. The monitoring only exists 'inside' that particular app - so a user could simply fire up Safari and search what they like without any monitoring. The authentication also didn't link into AD so they'd (students) of been required to know/remember another login step. This was a paid option too, wasn't impressed. Long story short - i'd like to know what you do on this front and what you decide on doing.

Hi all, I have a school Google Photos account setup and the app is installed via Meraki to all the schools iPads, so when they take photos or videos they are automatically backup and can be accessed via the teachers PC etc. It was working really well, I'm sure when I set this up initially it was a backup only solution, Google Photos would backup any new photos/videos taken on the devices and users could freely delete photos/videos after they'd successfully backed up to the cloud keeping the devices clean from bulking out the storage with photos. I say I'm sure as I use it personally on my Galaxy S6 for all my photos and I'm also positive I used to be able to freely delete photos/videos off my device without the backed up copy being affected. Now I've spotted that this appears to no longer be the case, if you delete a device copy of a photo/video even after it's successfully backed it up they still get deleted from the cloud. This hasn't always been the case has it? Or am I losing the plot and it's always been this way? Thanks Liam

Hacksaw Ridge. Oh my, you need to see it. Unbelievable, all a true story for those who didn't know.

I'm 87% sure it's a Lockheed AC130.

I did the final showcase event the other night. Still lots of events/championships to complete. I've not even found all the barn finds/bucket list events yet. I'll definitely be getting the expansion pass probably (MORE MONEY PLAYGROUND, REALLY?!). As Blizzard Mountain looks pretty damn amazing and the leaked Porsche DLC Expansion will be dropping at some point as well. Feel free to add me on Steam/Xbox if you ever want to go for a cruise or anything! Both steam and xbox are the same as my edugeek username.

I can only imagine it's had massive performance optimisation updates. You can see my PC rig specs in my Signature and I used to struggle to run it at 30fps also. I'm now running it at 60fps on high graphic settings and I only see dips in Surfers Paradise and during races now and then. And by dips I mean it will drop to 40/50fps then jump back to 60 after a second or 2. Well impressed and feeling like I'm getting what I paid £80 for now!

Hi all, We've had a request come in from a teacher asking to use the following website https://bouncyballs.org/ to help with managing classroom noise levels. We have been asked to source and supply 3x suitable microphones to use with the tool. However we only have really cheap mics that don't pickup the noise half as well as we need or mics that are attached to headsets. Does anyone else use this tool in school? If so what mics did you go with and are they good enough? We were thinking something like a Blue Snowball would be good enough but they come with a steep price tag at £50 each: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Microphones/Blue-101211-Snowball-iCE-USB-White/B014PYGTUQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1484561854&sr=1-1&keywords=blue%2Bsnowball&th=1 Would something like a Samson Sameteorite do the job? A bit closer to what we were hoping of paying: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samson-SAMETEORITE-Meteorite-Condensor-Microphone/dp/B00I9RK97K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484562471&sr=8-3&keywords=Samson+Go+Mic I'm not the best with mics at all so any input would be very grateful. Thanks Liam

Silverstone is the only UK Track with a grade 1 license from the FIA. If it isn't Silverstone, any other circuit will end up spending some big £££ to get the track to Grade 1 status. Which I can't see happening.

53Gb to be exact! I will be waiting a while to pick it up as I'm going to play more of the base game first. Although I'm not I've ever seen anything mainstream go on sale on the Windows Store. Fingers crossed they drop drop the price of BM or the expansion pass.
-
I have to agree, I too bought the Ultimate Edition and was properly miffed to find out they wanted more cash after the £80 original cost!! I'm yet to buy Blizzard Mountain but I'm sure my need will make me if I start to play this one as much as I did FH2 now it seems to be running a bit better. Ahhh no gutting! Tried reinstalling now its had many updates?
-
Anyone still playing this? I went back to it yesterday for the first time in a month or 2. Oh my I was impressed. I was playing at a pretty constant (apart from the odd drop here and there) 60fps last night, albeit only on Medium graphical settings (still surprising as I'd of thought my rig would be powerful enough for more than medium). It was joyful compared to what it was as I had no chance of playing at anything more than 30fps last time I tried. And does Blizzard Mountain look cool or what?!?!

I've got a £5 note and a Freddo in the office.

Thinking of replacing the board with an MSI one. Not sure if the ROG stuff would be any better? The ASUS ROG Hero/Formula boards always get shining reviews etc
-
It no longer beeps with no RAM in it either. Something has certainly failed. Looking to get the CPU in another 1150 board to see if it's just the board or if it's board and CPU. Think ill be staying away from ASUS boards unless they are high end ones, this is the second one to go funky.
-
Yeah I'll have a look later. Hoping the CPU is still okay if I do that though! Tested the PSU with a tester last night and all the voltages look fine so I don't think the PSU is to blame.
-
Yes and yes I've tried using the on board graphics! Was no help. I've pretty much left it to die peacefully now. I tried some brand new DDR3 ram with it last night and that also made no difference.
-
Well I can confirm the CPU reseat didn't work. Still just firing up with no POST beep. So I've got to decide how to proceed. I tested the PSU with the tester included with the EVGA unit that connects to the 24 pin main board connector and it fired up the PSU fan as it should of so thats appearing to be working correctly. I'm not sure if I buy another Z97 board and see if it's just the board or not take the risk of doing that and finding out the CPU is gone as well and just bite the bullet and put the money towards LGA1151 board, CPU and DDR4 ram.
