    Is the a complete beginners guide to setting this all up? We have our first iPad arriving today and very little experience of setting up or using them. We have recently started using Meraki. What type of Apple account do we need to set up? I have my own personal one but I dont want to use that. Do we just set up another one or is there special schools account? Im very aware that it looks like we could set something up that would work for a few iPads but that solution might not be scalable to multiple classroom quantities of iPads. Ideally we would like to do this for as little money as possible. thanks in advance

    This is a professional forum for Educational IT Support Staff, unfortunately bypassing your schools Internet blocks is not something we are going to be able help you with. It would unprofessional of us and its a question of child protection and duty of care, which is something we all have to take very seriously. Is there a teacher there who would be prepared to put your case for you being allowed special access?

    You need to talk to your teachers, maybe they can put you in a special group for youtube access. Trying to hack your way to youtube after your schools technicians have blocked access is not the way to impress them.

    Network boot but looks like network cable uplugged. (check cable connection message) is it supposed to boot to the network or should it boot to the hard drive? Can you boot it on a live CD? I usually use a Ubuntu disc to get to files on a non-booting drive, but make sure you dont install it!

    I was thinking of a copy and paste from a text file. Could you read the returns at the end of the URL? (show up as a backwards p in word if you turn on invisibles/non-printing characters) It would save time for the teacher if they could just paste a list they probably dont have time to paste them one by one.

    I like it. I see the point now. I take it if the teacher keeps adding url's to their session the students sessions will update to include the new url's Do the produced codes carry on working once the teacher has closed their browser?
