Did you edit the ps1 script or just run it? You need to change $O365CustomerName to your Tenant Name (mydomain.onmicrosoft.com)

Hi all Anything else I need to know about running patch 22573 from SOLUS other than backup first and run out of hours? Cheers Andrew

Hi. I use the OneDriveMapper powershell script from here http://www.lieben.nu/liebensraum/onedrivemapper/ which I then converted to an .exe file and have the shortcut on the desktop. You could also just as easily run the .ps1 script on login if you wanted it automated. HTH Andrew

Can I recommend the Shetland Island puffin webcam? Not because of the puffins, frankly if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all but because the camera is on the North of the island and it has stunning views of the Northern Lights when they are visible https://www.shetlandwebcams.com/cliff-cam-3/

TASC Insight has apps for iOS and Android and is under constant development. Rough costs are about £1 per student p/a One of those "we can't live without" packages at our school
-
I can't think of a single good reason to allow this directly in SIMS!!!! We give that information to all our students and parents via TASC Insight, not tried it personally but the free version of SIMS Parent Gateway might be your first port of call if you want a free solution? But student logins to SIMS, no just no. Andrew

At least it's a 4G pitch so it won't be frozen, better get out there with a brush and start sweeping #orangeballs We were meant to be heading up to Gloucestershire this afternoon for a basketball match, thankfully that was PP'd at 7am this morning
-
Late start for us today with lessons starting at 10:30 with all school trips cancelled and sporting fixtures postponed. Another 2" of snow overnight which then froze, the main roads are ok, all other roads aren't good with rural buses not running....
-
Very heavy snow again tonight, HM has just decided to make a go/no go decision at 6am. Just been updating the website for about the 4th time today... #sundayovertime
-
The back garden snow photo... Been out to the horses, not as bad as last time thankfully but we did have to cancel a DofE session at work today for 100 students
-
-
And the third event has just cancelled as well.... On the plus side, early finish today as wont have to hang round waiting for them all to come back tonight
-
We were outside working until 10pm last night getting 5 horses ready for various events this morning and you could feel the temperature plummet as the night wore on. This morning we got up at 5:30am to discover two events have cancelled overnight and the other is making a decision at 8:30am... Looks like it's going to hit us about 3pm this afternoon with a belt of heavy snow Saturday night....

Saw him live quite a few years back. His opening line was "has anyone booked a taxi, double parked or taking a train home? Well if you are, you had better leave now..." He stayed on stage until nearly 2am When the news broke overnight I took it with a pinch of salt as according to Facebook he's died several times over already, even posted a press release once to confirm he was still alive. One of the last of the variety club generation has left us -
Physical Ubuntu 10:04 box to Hyper-V
AJWhite1970 replied to AJWhite1970's topic in Thin Client and Virtual Machines
Hi. Thanks for the replies. It’s main function is to run OCS and GLPI for the inventory plus it’s the NTP source for internal kit. Not really looking to upgrade or continue to use GLPI, but would like to keep it as a virtual server for archive purposes just Incase.... -
Hi I've got a very old Ubuntu 10:04 LTS physical server that in an ideal world I'd like to convert to run virtually on a Windows Hyper-V host but have no idea where to start as I'm not a LINUX person... Any suggestions as to how to get this done as simply as possible? And yes, no doubt it's a big security issue running it that old etc but I am looking long term to migrate away from needing it completely and in the short term, running virtually means a second chance if I ollox anything up.... Thanks as always Andrew

Wonder Woman (2017) Very long and slow first half, got to the bit where Steve was forming the team to go to the front when thankfully I fell asleep. Asked OH this morning how it ended and her response was not in the positive. Based on her review I won't be going out of my way to watch the second half any time soon......

I took out an old 4 camera co-ax system and replaced it with a 20 camera unifi system with the NVR installed on a Windows 2016 Server with 4tb of storage. As others have said, about £150 per camera, the NVR software is free plus the cost of a file server if you don't already have one. Can't praise it high enough, simple to install, manage and find video footage when needed. Andrew
