Morning all I used to have a portable version of a Windows Driver scanner than wasn't riddled with adware and third party "extras" but I can't find it now I need to use it again. Can anyone recommend some software that can be reliably used for said task? Cheers Andrew

Centralised Desktop Icons and Shortcuts - What do you do?

Right click on the desktop and choose refresh works here on the odd occasion it drops out -
Drove a fence post into the parched ground yesterday and the post shattered about 2" depth!! I think it's fair to say that in these parts the rain showers forecast for today and the weekend is long overdue...

Adding the path to Security Zones and Content Ratings under IE Maintenance in GPO would cure UAC prompting, or copy and run from the C drive

Sorry, it's a screenshot as I'm on an iPad on Remote Desktop at the mo but this is my setup doc. YMMV as no idea if the clientsetup folder is standard or something I've built.... Let me know if you need more info Andrew

District 13 2004 French action film (subtitled into English) looking at a corrupt government trying to overpower 5 criminal gangs who live in District 13. Film is most famous for it's soundtrack and the live action free running scenes, the plot is in there but it's secondary to the non-stop action although the ending is a good twist... Some of the stunts are amazing with no wires or camera tricks used

We had 5 mins of rain overnight, a lot fresher this morning though with a stiff westerly blowing. Holding out hope that Sunday’s forecast for rain holds, fields starting to get to the point of no return now re grass...

Looking forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow. Will be on-site from 9:30am so if anyone needs any directions or gets lost PM me. For those of you coming from the station who need to go via Tesco, leave the station as normal with the high wall on your left and then follow the long straight road all the way down to the traffic lights with Jarwardins cafe on the left. Turn left and follow the very narrow path as it forks right past the church (it turns hard right then hard left) and once you surface, Tesco is 100 yards down on your left just past the still guarded radioactive cafe... To get back to Bish, reverse your path back to the cafe, then keep going straight on, under the main gate and turn left at the security hut. The black door on the Close is closed (the one with the Goulding plaque) so make your way round and use the Exeter street entrance on the main road. For those of you parking, we are expecting some large deliveries tomorrow so please park on the left hand side of the car park (anywhere near the bus, yes it's still there...) There are motorbike spaces just past receptions front door before the ramp. I'll leave plenty of signs out to direct everyone to the lawn

Which version are you running? 5.5.3 appears very stable for us, much better than previous versions (although I’m running 1709)

It's going to be a squeeze with players dropping out on both sides, but on the plus side, at least the weather should hold.....

Been at the New Forest Show today as I have for many a year and never known it as hot as it was today. All the livestock classes were struggling in the heat, shade was a rare commodity and water was rationed. Sadly not going tomorrow but OH is leaving at 6am with 4 horses and the forecast is even hotter Wednesday and then even worse on Thursday.... Urgently need rain now as the ground is turning to dust but not until I’ve finished doing this, 75 acres left to do....

All good here for Thursday. Going for a minor switch to plan B, going to hold the social on the Head Masters lawn instead of the cathedral grounds, only because there is more shade on the lawn and it's forecast to be stupidly hot and sunny. I'll go shopping in the morning, pick up bread, dips, butter, salad and some drinks, the rest I leave up to you as a general rule of thumb for the picnic, one plate of something for you and another for the table, something liquid and hopefully we'll have a veritable feast for everyone to enjoy. For any last minute travel directions etc, drop me a PM and I'll get back to you. I'll leave signs out for where to park etc

I know it's the first run of a 10 day forecast so it's highly likely to change but it's predicting 36c...!!! That's too hot even in old money....
