    Hi Nigel, Have you read this thread on TechNet? Unable Save Office Files to Network One fix seems to be disabling SMB, however some problems are related to be 3rd Party software. Certainly seems like a good starting point however

    I'd suggest using Windows 7 as well. At least then the interface for the teachers will be familiar, unlike the one in Windows 8. Depending on which version(s?) of Office you are running, you should be ready to field the "Where do I find 'x' on the Ribbon?" questions which inevitably crop up.

    How to recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from starting There's a link to a kb article.. If the registry IS corrupt and unrecoverable.. you might want to consider pulling data and just reinstalling the OS and software?

    Shouldn't be the case. I replaced our SP0 with SP1 images as soon as they became available. - I just had a random thought.. Had you installed AV to the Windows 7 PC before capturing the image???

    Also make sure that you've not imported KB2533552 into MDT.. This was causing our MDT setup to throw it's rattle out for a while.. I ended up pulling it, and adding it as an app via batch file.

    The Ativ S has finally arrived at O2! While it's up on the website, the O2 stores don't seem to have any stock yet.. but keep your fingers crossed for before Christmas! *is off to order via the website*

    If you're using MPS 2010 or 2011, AFAIK, best practise is to install all drivers in Maintenance Mode rather than Normal Mode.. It's certainly what I recommend!
