  1. I'd check the User Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Run only allowed Windows Applications setting. If it's enabled and the software you're using to view PDFs is not listed, then it won't be run on opening PDFs.
  2. I'd try looking in Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Removable Storage Access and Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Device Installation - Device Installation Restriction They're the locations which pop into mind when restricting access to removable storage.
  3. I've had my Xbox copy of the new Xcom ordered for a while now and have been spreading the word around my friends.. if only so that I can try to kill them in multiplayer with Chysalids!. Steam does a pretty good deal if you want to pick up the older games. I think it's £8.99 for Ufo: Enemy Unknown, Terror from the Deep, Apocalypse, Interceptor and Enforcer. Ufo and TFTD both run via DosBox, which is installed and configured. If you do look at running the old version of Ufo, I'd suggest looking at XcomUtil as well, which includes a fix for the Difficulty bug (i.e. when you load a saved game, the difficulty is set back to the lowest level)!
  4. Hi penfold, have you looked at using DevCon from the Windows Drivers Kit? That should allow you to delete the .inf, .pnf and .cat files on remote pcs, by using devcon dp_delete Here's an MSDN link, to the command - DevCon (Windows Drivers)
  5. InteliBoard.com - Inteli Board The second screenshot here shows the same logo as in your first photo. The website seems to have been a holding page since 2005 however, so I doubt you'll have much luck in your search.
  6. from: Interview: Stardock's CEO gives an update on Start8 - Neowin I can understand them wanting to keep control of the software, via licensing, incase it proves popular with OEMs (as their ObjectDock proved popular with Dell). As the software is still in Beta, it's a little soon to be quoting the EULA, which may well change with the final product...
  7. I'm running it at home as well. The developers have said that the final version will be FOC from the website, which is an added bonus!
