1- run cmd as an administrator 2- slmgr.vbs /rearm 3- Reboot 4- Redo step 1 5- slmgr.vbs /ato If that last step doesnt work, will need to do slmgr.vbs /ipk serialkey first -
Web Filter that can authenticate against AAD

They definitely can do it! Netsweeper confirmed it at the LGFL conference. -
OneDrive Files on Demand with Silent Autologon works well here - have been testing the new per machine install and mapping times have changed from over a minute to literally 10 seconds and this is on an 10 year old machine

How often do you hear - “Does Cloud really save money?”
mukz replied to CloudGeek's topic in MIS Systems
I put this down as economies of scale personally, a large MAT will save money by consolidating services. We are moving to the cloud and we have saved some money by ditching some stuff onsite but it only works out cheaper over a period of 10 years because we are not having to renew servers. -
Its possible to add the Sharepoint libraries using GPOs, still in test phase but works here. As jmak said if it is just individual account it works fine - google silently configure OneDrive

LGfL Lets Get Technical Conference
mukz replied to bald_pig's topic in London Grid for Learning (LGfL)
@DaveAshworth i understood it as Freedom2Firewall was the Option2 LGFL provided firewall which the school has control over whilst still allowing webscreen3 to work? Or did i completely misunderstand what Clive was saying? I thought LGFL@YourService was that part where they showed a better overview of the schools configs. Sorry if i am wrong - dont want to go back to school and tell leadership lies [emoji23] -

Mimecast is brilliant if you can afford it -
Leasing computers / laptops ipads due capital budgets being non existent
mukz replied to ictgoodpractice's topic in Hardware
We do not lease anything except our MFDs. We think it is a waste of money when 10 year old machines work still and well at that. Plus with the way Finances are these days, our school is just about covering salary costs! -

You can rearm, reboot and then activate as normal presuming you still have a VLSC agreement.

We use the free 100gig for our DC and MIS Server, other than that we have Backup Exec our backups for everything until all is moved over to onedrive/sharepoint, at which ppint we will review once again as we will only have 2 physical hosts/1 cluster left on site.

Have a chat with Able Data Installations PM me if you need info on who to talk to etc

Yup you are right there! Thats why we will be moving back to Webscreen once it is released. We dont use MailProtect, we have Office365 and was given the option to not use MP anymore
-
Webscreen 3 allows AD users/groups, we also do not use USOs and for ages have used Lightspeed.

Personally i would go about this by having regular 1-2-1 with the NM over a monthly period so they can bring out all their issues on a table, as you already know what the Teaching staff are saying. Are the support staff saying the same? We had a similar situation where it was NM vs Teaching staff and actually it ended up being that whilst the budget was enough it wasn’t helped by SLT supporting the NM with difficult staff asking for various items they wanted.

Have a look at intellisource

He also said that people can choose to ask for mail through post as usual

Do you need your ram to be covered by the warranty you have on the server? Im pretty sure that if its not done against the service tag dell wont support that ram module - happened to me last time but you can always complain and usually they will take ur side
