Tell them your off about 20% when it comes to bidding, if its an item you can find by typing it in google for cheaper than i tell them to not waste my time

In which case that also needs to be transfered to dc2. I would use this to do dhcp failover
-
Is the guys who audited offering to do the work for free? If no tell them to do one. The 2x1 copper is better as james said even though i would always favour 2 fibres. The fact that there is a media converter also aids your argument that the 2x1 copper is better. Usually these organisations come in and do audits and say this is wrong and that is wrong to earn a few bob

That sounds right, where is ur current dhcp sitting? On dc1?

Cat5e on Cat6 module is fine. I have done it in quite a few places at work because we ran out of cat5e modules. Forgot to replace them and its now 2 years later and still working

Virgin are defo planning to phase out analogue lines. It was on the news last year i think it was

Depending on the PERC controller you may need to add the drive back to the array as it would show up as a foreign drive which is done by going to the raid controller on boot. Do take a FULL BACKUP before incase anything goes @@@@ up

Is Sharepoint and Excel the best thing to use for Trust??
mukz replied to Theldron's topic in How do you do....it?
yup you can. you can use the get link for the file. -
Does the server not have omsa installed?not sure if you can install without rebooting
-
@jmak what server is it? And what is the model of the drive? You can pick up a refurbed drive for next to nothing dependant on server which will ensure that your server will stay alive until the new one comes in
-
I believe MS are making the client per computer install which will be deployable. But MS might change there mind as always

Im not no expert but maybe PowerBI might be able to help? I could be completely wrong and causing more work. I have read somewhere that Word tables can be extracted from the xml file into PowerBI -
You would add the @schoolinitials.us as a domain into office365, verify the domain by making adding some entries to dns and bobs your uncle. You can also use the azure ad to do Seamless SSO for your GAFE stuff but thats another conversation to be had. There are some threads on here which help

Appdata/Roaming is redirecting into OneDrive perfectly fine for us.
-
It does work but its hit and miss for us! We have reached a 70% pass rate now and still working to get it running without using any third party tools or AdFS

My friends used the Meet and greet. Absolutely ****. They had the tyre rims scratched alongside with a dent in the rear passenger bumper and by time they noticed it when they got home it was too late according to the company.

mukz replied to FN-GM's topic in Windows Server 2016
Ah right okay. One of the schools i help sims with ended up getting the whole solution for about 25k. We are looking into the S2D too. Maybe i can pick your brain next year when we actually get around to doing it. -

Are they also providing you with the dell switch and Nics to go with? -
Hi Matt, I will send you our settings.

If you change anything in that one large gpo, it will reapply everything related to that GPO. I use separate GPOs too, things i know i will not touch can sit in one large one.
-
I use it for OneDrive, its Sharepoint where i am having issues.
-
I have just spent the best part of 3 hours trying to do just this without spending money on a 3rd Party solution. No luck so far
-
Dell do a Full Storage spaces solutions with 2 x R740xd and Network Architecture to go with. They do full Flash array or a 2ssd caching solution. This is easily achievable in your budget. They told me the basic spec which is equivalent to your option 1 is roughly 24k

You need to grab the GPO from the Windows box and add it to ur Central Store. If locally testing just amend the local gpo - there is an article on MS which states which gpo you need to edit to do this. I am not at work and unable to connect to my machine to find the link for you at the moment. Google OneDrive SSO and there should be loads of articles
