We're looking for a piece of software too. Would be so much easier if there was a centrally stored database that each person could access, that had to write to the individual report. Then once completed and checked by the Headteacher, printed off as a school report. Any ideas?

You can create grade security groups and bulk assign users to that group. Then only allow admins, staff and certain security groups to access that share. It's a lot easier to change a user's group than it is to relocate them in AD.

Yes, they do. But the same error comes up even if we use the staff proxy login to bypass the proxy. -

How to create a Minecraft Club - Non Minecraft Edu

Hi, One of my primary schools would like to start a Minecraft Club. We missed the cut-off date for buying pre-release Minecraft Edu, so have bought 12 premium licences for the normal Minecraft game until the official re-release in the summer (so that the current Year 6 students can enjoy the club). We have created 12 user accounts in Minecraft and they are assigned individual email addresses. We have installed Minecraft onto 12 i5 laptops, but when we try and login onto the game launcher we get the following error... (ConnectException: Connection refused: connect) We have contacted our ISP and have had the following firewall rules created... Source : School IP range Destination : minecraftedu.com : 54.83.52.110 minecraft-proxy-us.minecraftedu.com: 23.23.173.103 minecraft-proxy-ie.minecraftedu.com: 54.72.109.234 Port : TCP/ UDP 25565 But still get the error!! Please does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. Thanks in advance

Excellent Glad it's sorted

You can do it via 'Item level targeting', under the 'common' tag, in group policy preferences. This will let you set up specific rules for individual groups or users in AD.

How do you set this up? One of my primary schools are wanting to do the same thing. Do you have to get certain ports opened by you ISP? We're using SWGfL. Chris

Hi, Great work with this. Is it possible to have a 'Redo' option, as well as the 'Undo' one that is there? The undo button clears the whole page and I can't see how to get the student's work back (if not saved beforehand). Cheers :-)

Hi SimpleSi, It took me a while to find out how too. You have to go to your 'People' tile. Click on the '+' button at the top left. Choose the 'Create Contact List' option. Choose your contacts that you want in the list. Done :-)
