Hi all, We started using Lesson monitor at the beginning of this academic year. Historically we have always had an registration period of 20 minutes in the morning, and then one of five minutes in the afternoon. We now want to abolish the afternoon reg entirely. We've already got it so that the PM reg mark is taken from the first afternoon lesson, but we'd like to remove "PMR" from the daily structure entirely. Is that possible, and if so how? I do now, but it's not something I've had to specify before. They've always just been a sensible size or smaller.

Something to watch out for which caught me out on our last purchase - the physical size of the case. We used a Framework, got a good spec for a good price (from PC Specialist), but when they arrived they are absolutely huge! Seriously, I've installed a smaller server than these!

Perhaps "Quietly and Promptly" is the name of the venue? But "Thankyou" definitely should be two words.....

Our dog likes her crate. She's been used to it since just a few weeks old. If we're going to be spending time upstairs (she can't do stairs due to disability) she'll sit at the bottom of the stairs and whimper. If we crate her, not a peep! Crate every night too, and if we go out without her. And we always call it a crate, "cage" sounds mean. When she was a young pup she'd get us up in the night or early morning, but it soon passed.

Watched Top Gun Maverick yesterday. Great, great film. I was very pleased there were no "clever" plot twists, just a brilliant sequel.

We had similar here and it was the last cumulative update (April) causing the issue. Take that out the equation and see if that solves it. Block it in the "Rules" by adding "wumu_excludekb1="&whatever the update number is. Stuart

This is ground floor, internal wall. It's wooden floorboards under the laminate. I like the idea of wooden spacers. Easier to get it level than plastering it too! Thanks to all for your replies. Much appreciated by me and Mrs Jawloms.

We're decorating our lounge and thought we'd pull off the skirting boards so we could sand and paint them nicely. When we did, the wall behind them was literally powder so we've taken it all out so that we can replace it properly, however! What do I fill it with. We had some plaster available to us so we just threw an absolute load of it in there. As it dried (and we had wondered if it might) it shrank considerably, cracked loads and didn't stick to the bricks, presumably because we put it on so thick. What do we do with this? Do we just layer it up slowly, or is there something else we should be putting in there before a layer of plaster, or do I just need to call a professional? Picture showing the depth required. Before we moved in the rest of the wall was re-plastered so is fine. Thank you Stuart

I'll bet you do. I'm with SchoolsBroadband, and it's that one telling me it's nice and quick! cloudfare, fast.com and Google all tell me it's less than 10, speedtest.net is saying it's 70+.

Which do you use and trust? Our broadband feels slow this morning. We are on a 100mb lease line. speedtest.net says I'm getting 70mb down, but Google's own speedtest says I'm getting 7mb. I'd expect a little variation between different ones, but that much? Stuart

Absolutely no idea, I'm not a Googler. Like I say, I simply signed up so that I knew the school "owned" the domain and could control people's accounts if we ever needed to.

Anyone please? I'd really rather not lose access to our business page.

Hi all, Years ago I took over our school's business page on Google. A few months ago I decided that whilst we don't use Google services as a school, I should probably register with it so that I can control our domain within it and no-one else can claim it somehow. Since then, I can't manage my Google Business page. It says; I have turned on literally every service for my account I think as initially I couldn't access maps etc. but now can, but it's still blocking me. Any thoughts please as I am apparently going to lose access to it in seven days now if I don't log in. Thank you Stuart

We have just started looking at ExamWritePad today. While testing it, I told it to print my "exam". All the cover sheets came out of the printer, but then the printer was complaining about paper, even though it had loads. I eventually figured out that it wanted to print the actual exam work from a different paper tray (the manual feed) which had no paper in it. Is this a setting which can be changed? Is it deliberate behaviour so you can have different colour cover sheets? Thank you Stuart
