Then just send it back, although they take their time (PCs get sent to Germany for repair) Toshiba support are fairly good. Last lappy I sent back was actually a C660 with duff wireless. I just phoned up and explained I'd built 5 machines from the same image and one had very poor wireless performance. The guy just said "sounds like the aerial's not been connect" and arranged the collection.

That's the annoying bit, it would be nice not to have to mess about with the existing drivers. I just know something will break. I'm wondering if it might be better off having a second print server for my Windows 7 clients.

Oddly enough it's HP.com that's telling me to plug the printer in and obtain the driver from windows update. And it's mostly for Host based printers which don't work with the universal driver.

I'm adding 64 bit print drivers to our server 2003 print server. HP instead of putting drivers on their website are instructing you to connect your PC to the device and let windows update download it's driver. What's the best way of getting your hands on the drivers

Stone do one, I think they're launching a new version at BETT. The cable access is very fiddly on the current version, but apart from that they seem fine. We've got about 40 of them. One really nice feature is you need to hold down a button to move the screen up and down. This makes it too much effort for our students to bother messing about with them. EDIT: I've not looked into them properly, but Novatech also do one.

We've got some Canon FS100s which have been pretty bomb proof and aren't too complicated to use.

Go into the properties of a Distribution Group, select the 'Mail Flow Settings' tab. Select 'Message Delivery Restrictions', you can then restrict who can send to the group.

You could probably do it quite easily with Autoit.

Ours is meant to do the latter, but after printing a couple of hundred cards it does the former.

We've got a Magicard, I would rather nail my eyeliids to a moving train then use it to print 1600 cards.

Seems like a rather expensive option. Considering the DVD players are probably only £30 a go. How about something like this; SCART to S-VHS & 2 x Phono Plugs : SCART : Maplin Electronics Although I'd be inclined to see what comes in the box before buying cables.

We gave up on ours and went back to using the SWGfL proxy on it's own. We'd already had a major issue with it not reporting user's names and applying policies properly. Spent a fortnight being sent diagnostic instructions that didn't work. In the end I had to phone SWGfL support, ask to speak to a supervisor and request the call was transfered to a different agent. The blasted thing still fell over when it got too busy.

We used to have a massive list of folders since everything was installed with the default name (unless something every dafter was requested). It's now done by department, if more then one department use the software it's down to who asked for it first. Some general software, office and serif suite, gets it's own folder.

What's the car, and what is it failing on? Are those main dealer prices? Dividing those prices by 12 gives you just over £70 a month, you're probably not going to buy a better car for that. Even on a brand new car consumable items will still need replacing, are you really going to make a saving?
