  1. You might be able to use the address label function.
  2. They are very friendly, I once had to call them asking for a quotation for a single pair of basic headphones (not their indestructible ones). This was because we were billing the parents of a little twerp who broke a pair. The lady on the phone suggested wrapping the cable round the student's neck.
  3. I might have a DV Cam spare. How many DV cameras do you have. You can get decent standard def SD cameras for about £150. It might be better to get new cameras. EDIT: We've got Canon FS100s which have been very good. It looks like the current version is the Legria FS306.
  4. You should also be specing a UPS as well.
  5. Is this what they're charging to come and set it up?
  6. Bare in mind they sometimes send out the recon units without bulbs. So you may need to swap the bulb over.
  7. We had issues yesterday afternoon, no internet for about 40 minutes and then patchy for the next 20.
  8. Have you called their helpdesk?
  9. Bother, I completely missed the Porterhouse. If you fancy a bit of a walk Anso on south Camden street is cool. And 4.
  10. I had to stand on a stage in front of 125 year 11s and explain to an external speaker from the local college that DVDs with coffee rings and scratches on the bottom don't work.
  11. Well said, just remember Dublin has some of the slowest Guiness in the world. In one pub I ordered a Guiness & a cheese and ham toastie. Guess which arrived first?
  12. Sales tax is basically the same thing, but I believe it's a much lower rate and set locally. I suspect we also have higher duties on imported good as well. Bare in mind if you bring a brand new camera in from the states you should pay import duty and VAT on your arrival in the UK.
  13. You're a little late.
  14. I can't remember where I read it, but I saw somewhere that TMG doesn't work as a Transparent proxy with web chaining is the upstream proxy is running squid. I'm assuming your on SWGfL who use squid.
  15. Lol, good luck. Nice setup you've got there, I'm making do with a D60 and a 35 f1.8 . Hoping to upgrade to a used D90, but since D7000s have been in short supply they've been more expensive and harder to find. What sort of stuff do you photograph?
  16. I'm not so sure, if anything they're trying to make the two products more different. High ISO performance and Auto Focus haven't really been upgraded from the D700 and the continuous shooting is slower. It looks to me like Nikon have their guns well and truely aimed at the Canon 5DmkII.
  17. Make sure you get photopaper intended for a laser printer. If you put inkjet photopaper through the results will be messy.
  18. Novatech might be worth a try if you want the exact same build. Stone are good, but I don't think they use Aopen cases. How many machine do you need, if it's just a few it might be less hastle to build them yourself.
  19. How about this? ThinkGeek :: One Does Not Simply Telnet into Mordor
  20. Well if you don't you can't put them on the domain and lock them down with GPOs. We've got netbooks that aren't on the domain, and they've been used about 3 times (they're meant for stop frame animation ).
  21. If you're in one of the Microsoft licensing schemes you might well entitled to upgrade them to Pro or Enterprise.
  22. It might be worth conntacting a few suppliers or manufacturers to see if any will let you have one on trial.
  23. The front crumple zone is fairly effective since unlike most cars there isn't a big lump of iron in there (this engine is in the back).
