I should like to be, as I have a Minolta SRT100X with about 3 or 4 different lenses. The only issue is, I don't have the space or facility to develop my own.... So it's just gathering dust at the moment.....

I've seen some duplex issues on 3800 series. At my old place we had a client with about half a dozen of these all throwing the same issues - wouldn't negotiate duplex speed when set to auto for some reason. I managed to get him to flash the IOS with the latest version and that seemed to calm it down. I think he was running v12 IOS, exact info is sketchy as it was a while ago. DT

Sat here, taking the occasional look at the Edugeek webcam I think it would be highly amusing to have an additional feature next year..... A screen on the Edugeek stand linked to the website, where we 'geekers can post pretty little [censored of course] messages to the guys on the stand. I could see this being highly amusing way of notifying your colleagues you're watching them, drinking coffee, supping coca cola, and chatting up the Edugeek female!!! @nile_c. DT

We shouldn't, but our governments have a shady track record and nephilim is right, this will create a huge amount of jobs. But, long term plans made by this government will only end up being sidelined by the next government for more favourable projects, and maybe we should push for a more transparent process. We've seen it before, general sir Mike Jackson has highlighted in the past government ministers that have pushed projects, shortlisted companies in which they have vested interests and made substantial personal financial gains without even considering that it could have been done better, quicker and cheaper by other companies which tendered for the business. It's not the project I'm against, it's the method by which they achieve it. And don't even get me started on the lib dems and education....

That's the problem, remember the last long term plan.... The aircraft carriers, 8 years later we're now not expecting it until 2020........ And it's cost a bucket load already. It's just a way of the government lining their pockets, and those of their friends. I wonder how many MPs have a vested interest in the companies who are selected to undertake the work. It's this that is driving our country to the dogs, MPs pushing for "projects", when really it's their interest that are set to gain. To be fair, I'd vote for the lot of them to be shot Or maybe I'm just sceptical after the last lot of jokers.....

When I moved into my new place it took 2 months for sky to remove the previous owners service...... I had no internet at home for 4 months, what with waiting for BT to pull their finger out and and sort my line out. Didn't bother me so much, but the Mrs went mental (well she was already mental, it tipped her a bit further). In fact thinking back, I don't remember a time when it didn't take weeks to get a new service. Tiscali was shocking. Pipex was pretty good, only two weeks but that was for business, and talk talk, don't even get me started. Problem is with my area is that virgin fibre only seems to be provided for the dole dossing chods..... Why the hell is sat broadband so expensive in this country??? My inolaws in Canada pay $20 a month for a 2mb synchronous sat service!!! I'll second the dongle, not much price dfference from a standard service, you can certainly acquire it quicker, and most are on a rolling one month contract. DT (disliker of shoddy ISPs)

1. I've never had any issues without one. 2. Generally it's bloatware provided by the network, rooting is the only way on some devices. Cyanogen mod is a very well built ROM, and much better than stock ROMs. DT P.s. on the topic of bloatware, Orange are possibly the worst network for it...
