    Dead Smart E70

Going through the Smart warranty debacle here too, nightmare!
  3. Another +1 for Telephone Europe!
  4. Still open for applications! https://www.indeed.co.uk/viewjob?t=it+teachers+apprentice+pg0018&jk=ecb989995077060e&_ga=2.46679847.1069543316.1530529754-196445356.1516188159

  6. +1 for Inventry, at my old school we had one of the first ones that went into a school, its still running now after probably 6 years
  7. We restart after install of agent, as sometimes it just kicks it into action. We install new stations via Solus, sometimes they work with no problem other times takes a few attempts.,
  8. The 'mute button' still mode works a treat!
  9. Thanks Joanne, is it expensive to run etc?
  10. An old thread but looking into the idea of 3d printing in a primary school, any advice would be great!
  11. +1 for Lanschool here, used it here for a few years, the staff love it so do the pupils!
  12. Some of our first ones are 6 years old and still working perfectly fine, so although they cost a lot, they have been a good ROI, we rolled them out over several years because of the cost.
  13. Our school has had these and the earlier varients for years, never fail and work a treat. https://www.geneeworld.com/product/genee-vision-8100hd-visualiser/
  14. We use Lanschool, inexpensive and loads of functions but easy to use.
  15. We had this where the station had a two RM certs installed an older and a newer one, deleted both and re-imported the current one and all was fine. Had to close browsers etc though. Also noticed if you login with new user, chrome wont accept until IE has been opened first, then Chrome is happy. Not sure if this will solve it but just some things we found.
  16. Hi specky, we move to user based filter last Sept and the process went smoothly, RM did the server based part remotely and our users did have to change password for this to take effect but was good reason to force a change of password in my view. The system allows us to make allow/deny changes to filtering on a group basis i.e Year 6 could be allowed Pinterest if required. It also made my life easier with allowing staff access to websites. The other bonus is the SafetyNet portal to look at internet activity, you can download a spread sheet for a particular users history for a day etc which has been useful in circumstances. I give it a plus as it does not take too much of my time to manage this setup, once its up and running it works.
  17. Many thanks ICTDirect_Dave ! laptop received and much appreciated, will be deployed to a staff member shortly!
  18. Zioxi Trolleys here for Ipads and laptops, they are designed well and easy to move about and not expensive. The cable management is good too. The children have got used to putting them away safely so no problems here so far, luckily, touch wood etc
  19. We have Smart here, had interactive panels for 2 years and just added a 6065 V2 which is great board, much improved on the earlier versions.
  20. They could get accredited with a cable manufacturer, but that would not give them proper cabling installation experience. It may seem pretty simple, but an experienced installer may disagree, if drilling through walls is involved you guys will have to be careful, and are they good with heights etc? £80 a point sounds a lot but it depends on how many in one go, and depends on the length of run etc.
  21. RM here, no problems for years either.
