All of your traffic from 172.190.41.250 is creating IP checksum errors which is unlikely to be helping. I would presume this is a server - I would suggest you 1) upgrade the drivers on that machines NIC, and 2) take a look at the settings on that machines NIC and disable any Checksum Offload features (via Device Manager or the NICs seperate utility if one is available). See if that makes a difference.

Interesting... Can you guys get your hands on the E5406 range as well...?

AFAIK - No know can't - All the ADMX files need to be in the PolicyDefinitions folder, and all ADML files need to be in the relevant language subdirectory. At the end of the day, the files have different names anyway, so easy to see which are for which product. The office templates will show in all GPOs when using a central repository. I'm unsure as to why this is a problem for your implementation however? Having those settings shown or not doesn't change how the GPO works. If you just add the old ADM files, then you're increasing your GPO bloat (e.g. each ADM file is copied to the GPO it is assigned to), the point of the central store is to do away with GPO bloat and have just one copy of the setting reference in one place - hence it being available in all GPOs from the central repository is far better than assigning the old style GPO and increasing replication traffic.

I'd agree with the 2510-48 - However, Only go for the 2510G if you need gigabit to the desktop. The price differential is quite substantial.

With Sky BB it also depends if you're getting it through the normal BT exchange connection, or if Sky have LLU kit in the exchange. I switched from Virgin (DSL) to Sky LLU about 6 months ago and have never looked back - not a single outage (save this morning), double the speed, no ridiculous throatling, and £5 cheaper. A no brainer for me.

Kaspersky Internet Security (utilising AV, firewall (manual, not auto), malware protection) never do a system scan as on-access is good enough these days, hardware firewall on router, occasional Windows Defender and Spybot S&D scan.

To be honest I don't think discrete ICT is that greater loss. They need some structured study in Year 7 to ensure their base ICT knowledge is good enough, then most of the use of ICT is covered cross-curricular. Most Unis and employers seem to agree that ICT as a curriculum subject isn't much use - how to write a report in Word and create a PowerPoint are better taught when there is a real application in another subject, instead of fictitious scenarios created in ICT. Either the ICT curriculum needs a total rewrite to actually be relevant, or it's valuable teaching time that can be reclaimed. I doesn't affect IT pros in schools - most of our time is spent with other departments than ICT Teaching, and the creative resources we see at BETT are rarely for discrete ICT use.

Article 8 of the Human Rights Act? Right to privacy unless there is a legal reason. Data Protection law since they have no right to access that data. Also wonder where theft law fits in with it in a general sense. -

Running mine on a i7 920 OC'd to 3.5GHz with 6GB RAM and a Samsung F3 HD - Haven't seen any of the lagging problems. Though I'm probably just lucky by the sounds of it. Single player is good, though think I prefer MW2... it's growing on me though...

You can do this from within MDT - You need to add the FinishAction variable to the Deployment Share. If you open Deployment Workbench, right click on the MDT Deployment Share, then click on the Rules tab, under the [Default] section, you need to add the following line: FinishAction=RESTART SHUTDOWN and LOGOFF are also valid actions. Click OK then right click the Deployment Share again and click Update Deployment Share & follow it through. What we use here, hope it helps.
