Hello All, We have swapped out our wireless which was Meru Does have anyone have any use of: 2 x SA250, 2 x MC4200 and 86 x AP322i, and two external AP's (don't know the make/model of these) I think there are 4 or 5 of the AP32221 that have never been out of the box. Don't want anything for them but will need to be picked up. All the best

We started of using both. The a few teachers actually asked why they need to post to SMHW and then put docs ok n Teams. They found it a pain so we have now binned shmw and only Teams now. Going well at the moment. One app I would recommend staff put on their Teams is the 'insight' app gives really good view to staff what the kids are doing. Gives times of day they are logged in and what they are working on and for how long.

All I can say is salamander, salamander, salamander. Absolutely superb product the support is superb as well. It creates all the accounts in AD from Sims it can also write back to Sims as well.

So art teacher is setting assignments on Teams with end dates as per SLT instructions. Some of the assignments are to draw something and hand it in in class for obvious reasons. Is there a way the teacher can mark the students homework as submitted on the team assignment? I know you can bang on to the students to login and just hit turn in, but the teacher wants sign of the homework and then turn it in herself. Hope this makes sense Cheers

Hi, Just wondering if anyone limits the bit rate for Media in Teams settings. Ours is on the default 50000 Seem to have a few quality issues. Regards Dave

I brought Barracuda mid August due to the huge increase in Teams usage. Very easy to setup. Just sign in point it to your office 365 and bobs your uncle. I know O365 has retention policies etc but the comfort of knowing we have an indefinite backup is a weight of my mind. As you say pay for staff and students are included free. I like how easy it is to restore data and emails back to other users. Handy when the department head has all the department resources and shared them out in there own OneDrive, and then leaves [emoji34] Barracuda was by far the cheapest. I had quotes from other companies between 11.5k and 6.5k we paid 3.4K

Yep, started using Barracuda cloud backup since we started the heavy use of Teams. Licensed by number of staff. It then includes all students 3.4k a year

At last, SLT seem to have come to acknowledge what I have been saying for ages, that they need to use Teams (as we are an office 365 school) for meeting and assemblies. Especially for social distancing now. They have been using all day and other staff have had their meetings. Today was a good day [emoji1] Cheers

Hi, We currently have NRS (now Civica) and parentpay. We are an all through school. For our primary phase, we need a some way for parents to book the menu choices online (Parentpay possibly) and pay for them. Then in the morning, a member of staff collates the choices and hands to the caterers. Ideally what we would like: Parents go onto parent pay, select the menu for choices for the following week. Pay on parentpay. These choices then go into the Civica catering system so the caterers know what to order and what meals to get ready. Hope this makes sence Cheers

Hello, Think I know the answer to this but wanted to check before I fired up powershell. I have a Stream group but now want to add all members of staff. I have groups synced from my AD. Is it possible to add my AD group 'Staff' to my MS stream group? Or is it powershell to add the members form a CSV? Cheers

Hello, Sure this is new. Just tried to create a new group from within Stream and its asking for "Sensitivity" and this classification cannot be empty. But clicking on it there is nothing to select nor can i type in the box. Are this Sensitivity related to Sensitivity labels in the compliance center? cheers

Hi, Had an email this morning, It says we get 6gb per month The 4G wireless routers will come with a pre-paid monthly data allowance of 6GB a month, for 6 months. The data allowance starts when the router is activated, which will be the day you receive it.

Hello had this for 5 users today. The fix for me was, and it worked for all of them straight away was to remove the teams license, click save, then put the teams license back. Strange but done the trick All the best

Hi We were also having many many problems printing PDFs. It was going on for many months. Google search seems to show lots of people have the same. We have rolled out Foxit and set that as the default for opening PDFs about two weeks ago and not had a problem since. Foxit is the way to gom you can sign up and get an MSI to deploy All the best
