  1. Has anyone on here ever looked into scripting SIMS .net user account creation? - I'm assuming there isn't going to be anything native and it's going to be a case of SQL scripts For context we've got the AD account creation part nailed down now, creating the accounts, generating a nice PDF and emailing it to the user, all from a single script, but we're now looking at the last manual part of the process TIA Sam
  2. Yes, we use the hosted version of Wonde, if you speak to Wonde they can set this up for you Edit: Sorry I should have clarified, we use the Hosted version of Wonde in our Hosted environment, not sure if it's actually available to end users, there is also a Hosted version of Groupcall Xporter available, again not sure about end user access to this
  3. Well the report found ran for 4 mins 40 secs and then stated system error out of memory but i'm not 100% sure it was the report you mean as it said it was an "imported" one Also what is slow is everything from logging in on a workstation to searching for students and reports, a typical search will take anywhere from 1 min to 5 mins in extreme cases, logging in can take up to 10 mins in some cases, all workstations are on GbE
  4. But we're not running through SAN, it's the servers local raid that it's running from?
  5. Does anyone else have a problem with sims being slow as hell? Our vm specs are 8vcpu and 32gb ram and it's still really really slow, any ideas or is that just was sims is like?
  6. shhhhhh don't tell everyone they'll all want one!! cheers, rookie mistake doh!
