  4. You could install AdminDroid. You get a 14 day trial. Gives all sorts of info about your 365 environment
  5. We paid £3100 for 250 staff which then gave us all the students included. I use CAE for the purchase. They do do a 14 day trial
  6. Using Barracuda here. Had it for a year now. Easy to setup. Licensed by number of staff, then all students are included. Edit Also apparently no storage limit. We have about 6tb in our Office 365 environment.
  7. Light .
  8. Ah just found it, it's a deb package here http://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us Should be good on any Debian distro.

  10. Yep edge for me. Got it installed on my Linux daily driver (still in dev) no problems
  11. Hi We were assured this would be the solution for us. Parent Pay said it would do what we needed. It didn't and we have now going to use School Cons for the primary phase. Still using parent pay for the secondary phase. The reason it didn't work out was to do with parent accounts. If parents had above 5 children the parent would need 2 different logins. Which would have gotten real messy. (We have a number of parents above 5 kids [emoji45]) We have a single SIMS instance across both phases, and the ParentPay route meant two instances of ParentPay. There was two MISsyncs going on, so say a parent had a child in primary and child in secondary. Both children would appear in both instances of ParentPay. Just way to messy. The above prob makes no sense. Happy to chat next week if needed
  12. Yep defo go for it, had it running on our production servers for ages with no problems
  13. I would be a bit wary of teachers having write/edit access to students OneDrive. Just thinking that some teachers might be inclined to complete half completed work. They don't have write access to onsite files Interesting though
  14. Cheers, I have been trying since 2013 to get another supplier. Current fiber comes down the local highways department ducting. We are on a housing estate where a company owned the rights to the ducting and will not let anyone else put fiber down the pipe. All of the houses around here have to get their broadband from the same company and Sky I believe. But that still don't help getting the cable to our building. We have had BT open reach out a couple of time to survey. There is a BT green box on the main road but we would have to pay for all the civil works to dig the road up and lay ducting across our fields
  15. For us the main show stopped is our broadband. Our school was built in 2013 and the only way we could and still can get our broadband was through our local authority. We cannot get broadband from any other supplier. The broadband from the LA has never been the best. Drop out are prob once every two months. Recently the county main switch died and we were out for 3days. our sip phones also go through the switch. We had our internal network obviously so was able to carry on teaching and use SIMS. I keep the fire burning for going to a cloud SIMS
  16. I'm just staggered by some of the amounts. I know so many of the families we have loaned to drive around in some very nice cars and have Sky TV and have mobiles. I'm all for helping those in genuine need but....[emoji35]
  17. Blimey....... I'm just still at the starting line then. Cheers
  18. Righto Who can beat me? We have loaned out, so far, 194 laptops to those supposedly in need. So post your numbers :-) Cheers
