Is anyone else have big problems with NRS cashless catering syncing with parent pay? I know parent pay had big problems at the end of last week but they ensure me its sorted. Our cashless system has not been able to update from parent pay since Thu last week. Just wondered if it was just us? Cheers

Yep almost throw the thing against the wall. These instructions might be the same. I did have to put some force on it to the point I thought I might break it. All the best Faceplate Removal Guide.pdf

Give me a sec to get back to my desk, I'll throw some instructions your way

I'd like to do that for a few teachers

There was no emails to start with. I'm half way done deleting the dups✌️

Teachers seem to like it but I have had a number of sync issues. This years intake took a couple of days to get sorted

Used the tool this week. I'll have a look Monday to see if I still have the installer Great tool by the way @matt40k

I am kicking myself. I tell people all the time to stop clicking like mad, only to do it myself :-( I use the SIMS Bulk import utility every year to import the new year 7's email accounts into their records in SIMS This year I was clicked the import button twice, now I have 250 student records with Duplicate email addresses in section 4. Anyone got a method to remove all the emails for year 7's? I can then do the import again. I was thinking of an SQL statement that might do the job! Don't fancy going to 250 records individually to delete the extra email address. But I suppose it will teach me a lesson! Finger crossed

Ditto Salamander. Can't fault it

I find it with apple mice. When the cleaners decide to polish the desks with Pledge none of the mice work. Give it a few days they then work until 3 or 4 week later when they decide to clean again

@pantscat method will do the trick

Cheers for the replies. I've had conversations, sent emails etc. But have a feeling no one will listen till fines start coming in [emoji106] -
Getting rid of some rubbish from the office today. Looks like some of the teachers have had a clear out. These big green skip bins were packed to the rafters. I grabbed a hand full, everyone had a students name and form number on. This bin was for mixed recycling. Should I be worried about about personal identifiable information on these bits of paper in terms of GDPR?

Yep that was Auschwitz. I was numb the whole trip! Still bring a tear to my eye!

Just a photo of a cake I made for last year’s Halloween party. Can’t think why the kids wouldn’t eat it!

I know number 3 looks like it has been Photo shopped, but it hasn’t. It was sunset in Perth Australia

Help me setup File screening / FSRM
ozydave replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in Windows Server 2012
Yep I ran it on all my servers. Sims included. Not brace enough on DC's though. I had FSRM already running on my shared area server and home drive server and just run the script and it just added the file screens -

Hello All, I liked the old office 365 Video library, it does what I need it to do Been looking at the new Office 365 Stream video library. I like some of the features but I’m now disabling it on my tenant. At present I have stopped all staff and students from creating groups, tenant wide. The kids found out that creating groups was great fun and they started causing chaos. The groups were mail-enabled with ‘conversations, calendars, files and notebooks’ Office 365 Stream works with groups for permissions. As a Stream Admin you can stop people from creating ‘Channels’ but you can’t stop them from creating ‘groups’ So signed into office 365 as student or staff, then click the ‘People’ app, users can’t create groups. But go into the Stream App you can create a group, add anyone to it (staff and or students). Then go back into the ‘people App’ and happily start using your new group (with conversations, calendars, files and notebooks’) causing chaos again. Don’t know if this makes sense but am I missing something with this?

Thanks Seb1780 for the spreadsheet, gives me good format to start to work with. Thought I would share how my SLT are dealing with GDPR

Mac air and Clevertouch screens - not a happy match, any suggestions
ozydave replied to twelvetree's topic in Mac
Had two clever touch in our Mac music suites since 2013. Never once got them working interactive with iMacs or my MacBook. The support was rubbish, spent hours on the phone. I just gave up and put windows laptops in the rooms if they want interactivity. But for 99% they are just projectors -
Maybe if you have space and virtual environment, create another disk with the folder structure for departments you want then make the original shared area read only. Give them a dead line to copy what they need to the new area.
