WOW! I'm impressed I wasn't brave enough to actually go as far as looking at the reviews suppose I'll have to now
-
And on top of all those things we have the rise of the 'Common Law Constables' and Sovereign Citizen just to give the believers a proper sounding enforcement system which is starting to make the whole thing feel a bit more scary than a bunch of naive and deluded people running round having meetings and posting on YouTok

This is exactly my point in doing it I will probably never change the mind of the main people - but if someone reads something challenging the original post and it makes them realise the post is not true - then I have done something

You could read the books - Wizard's First Rule - but be prepared because I think the author has some 'problems' and the scenes are rather extreme quite well written but WOW rather dodgy

Many many years ago I was working in a big business - hence they had several main frame computer rooms two of which had their own seperate building The mini computers I worked on were in one of them I was working there one day and suddenly the power just shut off I clearly had to stop work - pretending was no longer an option with only the emergency lights on - so I started heading back to the office on the way out I was in the lift with the main frame operators turns out site services found that the flat roof was covered with leaves and other junk so they decided to hose the leaves (etc) off the roof it all went well until they got to the edge and for some reason ($deity knows why) they were trying to clear our a vent at which point the main frame operators noticed a jet of water spraying down directly onto the main frame itself so they panicked and hit the BIG RED BUTTON one guy said he was jealous 'cos he had always wanted to do that himself but he was just too slow so the whole building shut down anyway - it was on topic as it was water cooling sort of

Shame was that I found the whole White Tower and novide/accapted bits very good - I enjoyed them and the bits after but they - for obvious reasons - had to skip all that but that was where the characters were built up as well as a lot of the canon and concepts still - looking forward to the next season now looking for a way of watching the Legend of the Seeker for free bet they didn;t do the bits with Denna properly!!!!
-
I did wonder about going on a course to become a Common Law Constable but I think they might end up hitting me apparently I can be annoying (see Mrs mikeprice for details) and I don;t always know when to shut up when someone talks total carp and anyway I didn;t want to contribute to their coffers

pronounce - I probably wouldn't even spell them right!

I have probably said this before but I tend to get a lot of certain dumb stuff on some other forums that I look at at the moment I get a fair amount of anti-vax stuff I tend to try - if I am feeling up to it - to post a sensible and calm response to a few posts a day - with real facts and replying to specific points It takes ages to get all the right stuff and find where the poster's 'facts' come from and find how to debunk them in a calm and polite manner and it gets exhausting posting the rubbish the hard core have is far easier hence a lot of rubbish gets posted and only a small amount gets challenged - giving the impression that the hard core must be right same applies to all this stuff - the volume drown out the facts

Due to an unforseen spacing error, we're now looking forward to a summer holiday on the Norfolk B roads.

3 relatives have tested positive 1 is a real mystery - she went to her boyfriend's parents for a New Year's Eve party it is rather strange but after that is seems like nearly everyone there has tested positive - clearly just a coincicidence!! Anyway - she has had to do her quarantine at her boyfriend's parents house with him (sounds like a trial!!) and rang today to say she has tested negative and can come home and was told not to bother as her brother has just tested positive! on top of this grandson and his Dad have come down positive - as they test regularly the other kids are negative (so far!) and daughter-in-law is as wel - but as she had Covid a few weeks ago and is fully jabbed she was probably not vulnerable so - yup - lots of people no longer taking it seriously - and this one spreads faster but the numbers seem to be dropping - maybe we shall see we are just keeping the drawbridge pulled up!! -
The Aiel do look like they are going to be all I would want and Min was done well And we do need more of Lan fighting - although I reckon Sparhawk could have him!! We shall see what happens - some very good bits!

Latest from Novak That Aussie Open just Flew by Lets hope he hasn;t caught any bugs or anything - hate to think he gets the flew or something - not on form today

I seem to have accidentally become a Prime member - only found out a few days ago Probably due to panic buying Mrs mikeprice's Christmas present - although it can be difficult to avoid! Anyway - decided that if I have it I can use it to watch WoT Didn;t expect it to match the books - because that would be impossible - and I wasn;t surprised! I did quite like it - until the second to last episode where it seemed to try and get all emotion based and couldn't hack it But it was OK I did feel they assumed that you would 'get' some of the details that they didn;t explain - but if you read the books it was obvious Looking forward to Season 2 - but I'm not going to suggest Mrs mikeprice watches it - he standards are far higher than mine (AKA I'll watch any old ****)

I reckon that comes out as Advantage Australia

Hi all Saw a news article on the telly last night that seems interesting Apparently Hull University have developed a new type of datacentre cooling system using water rather than air conditioning https://www.hull.ac.uk/work-with-us/more/media-centre/news/2021/university-of-hull-low-carbon-tech-helps-council-cut-co2-emissions not sure it will be necessary for the average Primary school - but a scaled down version might come along to help with maybe a large MAT Clearly we don't want to shout too loudly - especially those of us (well you lot who still work anyway) who work in the only cool room in the school during hot summer days!!

We haven;t done many LFT tests because we don;t really go anywhere except to look after the grandkids - and as their Dad works in the hospital operating theatres he does tests every 5 minutes and his partner does them several times a week as she works in a hotel and is rather worried after having it a few weeks ago kids have also been tested several times recently due to close contact at their schools all have been negative except DIL when she had it for a week or so - but it didn't spread! all the tests have been logged - seemed easy enough once I had it set up but them I'm getting quite good at the new fangled computer things -
OK OK OK quieten down and stop making a raquet

I was walking past a pet shop. A sign in the shop said, ‘Pedigree Netherlands cats for sale.’ I didn’t believe they were from the Netherlands so I went in and asked the assistant “How Dutch is that moggie in the window?”

Many years ago I sent Maggie Thatcher a present as a 'Thank Yo' for all her great work After a long time I decided to give her a lathe She sent it back!!! apparently The Lady is not for Turning

Just been putting some dates next to each other Grandkid no 3 was in hospital at the time of a certain 'business meeting' kid was in there for nearly 5 months after being born no-one could visit - his sister and brother were allowed in for a few minutes as a special favour on Christmas day to meet him It was uncertain whether he would come home from the hospital - or just go direct to his funeral - not stopping at Go and not collecting a life and the funeral would have been limited - dunno if we would have been able to go still - don;t want to get all amphibian but rather 'upsetting' sorry - just realised and got a bit upset - better to share on here than put it together for Mrs mikeprice when she has bad 'flu (not Covid - which is good!) -

I have a theory Previously to get information we had to look at a newspaper written by a 'qualified' journalist - which his/her editior checked etc etc or look in a book written by someone who had put some effort into it and we hqd fairly few sources available - and all were of this quality or we could ask someone like a teacher or other educated person so all the information we got was mostly filtered though people who are likely to have checked it out now we have loads of information and data available unfiltered or filtered by any old moron from anywhere in the World what could possibly go wrong!!! Anyway - on another forum () I seem to be recently getting fed a lot of anti vax stuff - and pro trump stuff anyway - one comment today was good - from someone answering an anti-vax post saying that the vaccine has caused many many many serious problems he said The hospitals are full of people with Covid What they are NOT full of is people with problems caused by the vaccine -
