Our daughter-in-law had Covid just before Christmas - people she worked with had it so she did a test Her partner works in a local hospital - in the operating theatres doing serious medical stuff he was not over happy about her sampling technique for the LFT she did - so he did the samples for her properly I do wonder how many people 'do a test' and it comes back negative because they don;t like the feeling and didn;t take the sample well enough I presume 'someone' has checked this out???

ANother forum I frerquent has a similar thread to this but we seem to have attracted an anti vax person - although he does seem to be sincere he commented a while ago about there being "over a thousand highly qualified doctors that think teh vaccine is fake" so, of course, people challenged him to post the list and then called him out on not having posed it so yesterday he did!! Seems like he really thought this is it - debunk THIS!!! I only noticed it when I logged on this morning - by which time people had randomly selected names and checked them out - lots of people doing a few each Andrew Wakefield was one of them but all the others that people checked were of the same standard he has been well and truly shown up!!! hopefully it will at least shut him up - if we are lucky he might even start thinking more clearly!

My Honda is from that date so I was wondering luckily it doesn't have the affected NAVI stuff - so it is OK I don;t think it even knows the date!

Read something this morning ( sorry no link) saying that the UK was better at fighting off infections - and one reason may be that we have more AZ vacs than most countries AZ is not - it said - the same as the rna vaccines but is more traditional and it may be that it lasts longer anyway - that is what I remmeber

At that time I was looking after a small comms system that had to run on DOS - no WIndows at all, of any kind The PC support group (I only looked after bigger things at the time) wanted to 'upgrade' the computers this little system ran on - and gave me - over about 2 years - 3 different PCs to put it onto. None of them could run a driver for the serial comms port under DOS. I don't even know why I was supposed to find the driver - it wasn't my area at the time! However, I eventually got them to give me another (yet another!) PC of a different make and found a driver that would work with it - and tested it and all that then implemented it. The Instruction for all our systems were to shutdown and Power Off EVERYTHING - even the Main Frames were totally shut down - then the whole lot was powered up and restarted from the bottom up. Somehow they managed to miss the PC running the backup system for the little comms package - the main system was fine. So - the only Y2K problem that I actually saw was this system - but it only came to light some time in March when we needed to switch to the backup due to a power fault in the main Head Office computer room. As a result every credit/debit card transaction for the whole company was rejected until I realised and got the operators to restart the PC and enter the date properly The PC support people had forgotten to check the BIOS was Y"K compliant - and it just happened to be that one system they missed - and that one was the one system (probably) that didn't get powered off and restarted. Naturally I got the blame - but I was used to that

Ahh - yes Y2K I got a nice big bonus every year for about 4 years because I was working on that. Wonderful thing - al gave me loads of opportunity to set up networks of old computers in corners of computer rooms to test all sort of stuff Still - you would have thought some companies would have learnt - or maybe not!

Actually I can check through the same website I use to order new prescriptions - it has the vaccines on there but good to know anyway

To be fair - that was rather optimistic at the time Still better to be optimistic but plan for disaster than plan for disaster and not be prepared for success is that a saying - or have I just made up some total carp off the top of my head for no good reason??? Anyway - 1 day in and All's Well "Well" being defined as no total disasters over and above the **** that has become normal so kinda like Fred and Nobby would call when on patrol

Apparently a bunch of 'Covid Deniers' have invaded one of the main Liverpool Hospitals They tried to remove an elderly man, accused the nurses of aiding in a genocide and the Police of aiding a kidnap When the cops arrived the following happened He then told police they have "no jurisdiction" and "the Government has been liquidated". He then claimed he had more jurisdiction as a "common law constable", to which police replied "no you don't, mate". I think we can all accurately imagine the tone of voice of the Police Officer in the above 'discussion' apparently he is now in custody His court appearance should be interesting anyway - what in the name of $deity is a 'common law constable' must look it up

Being retired and not being able to do much due to Covid - I started some time ago on a very minor crusade When I had time and I find some anti vax comments on a News site etc - I started looking at the 'facts' they stated as true and found the real facts and posted a link clearly I probably would never convert anyone - but the aim was to inform anyone else looking and wondering very minor thing - only do it a couple of times a day - but it kept me feeling useful recently I just don't have the energy any more - it is really depressing still - must start again - really posting this to encourage me

These people are dangerous I saw one somewhere else with a poster saying that Omicron symptoms are a runny nose and a sniffle Funny that Mrs mikeprice's son, who works in a local hospital, says a lot of people are in there with omicron and seem to have a lot more problems than that! still - freedom (presumably 'freedom unless I get ill -then give me all the drugs available')

Our bathroom are being 'upgraded' in a few weeks any suggestion on how I can convince Mrs mikeprice that we NEED this design in all the bathrooms??? and the kitchen
