Making the amount so extreme does seem a bit strange Unless, of course, it comes from a place where 300,000 of the local currency is worth a much lower amount - in which case some locals setting up the script could get it wrong On a different note - I actually came on here to say that I realised yesterday that I haven;t had a single dodgy call - either scams, cold calling or people fishing for names to pass on to companies - for quite a while - and by that I mean months Normally I get a few empty weeks followed by 2-4 a week for a few weeks Anyone else seen this or is it just me??

Saw a news article yesterday saying that people are refusing food like potatoes and carrots from Food Banks because they are frightened of the amount it will cost to cook them SO - we had mashed potatoes tonight and I now have a working Smart Meter took 30 minutes to cook - meter said it was at 2p per hour - hence about 1p to cook them but people are scared of using any gas because of the scare stories and, of course, I have the money to try an experiment - but they don;t so they have to listen to what people say and some of the people are not very responsible in what they say

Responsible - practical???

For an unconnected reason I was looking on Google maps for a Catholic Church I noticed a kerbside car charging stations nearby so I decided to look on streetview stop the problem! this is only the second I have found around here - both have suffered from a lack of thought I actually emailed the local council about the last one and they had to move all the charge points!!!

Sorry if this has already been said but I got a bit behind with this thread and may have missed some bits Anyway - when I have had a reason to go through HR policies regarding heath then there has normally been something along the lines of not coming into work with an infectious disease normally put in in case someone comes in with mumps or scarlet fever or similar but I think we have proof that Covid is infectious Hence if someone feels they should not be in work but work are insisting then check the policy for this clause and if someone feels unsafe (as I would) due to a colleague being told to come in with Covid - again check the policy - you may be able to do something even if the union needs to be involved

Funny thing - I checked my bank account yesterday and noticed £40 paid IN from EDF checked my EDF account and it is a refund due to overpayment!!! weird

I think water is the name of the person the sign is for maybe that font doesn't do capitals
