  1. When I was at Uni I used to make Home Brew. From memory it worked out to NZ$0.80 for 1.5l which works out at (very) approx 10p per pint. But the exchange rate works 2 ways.......... when I first moved the the UK a pint here cost me the equivalent of NZ$10 for a pint. Not good if you're not earning £'s yet and basically spending $ still...

  3. Has the board's surface been damaged at all?
  4. We recently had a problem with a Sanyo XE31 being very hard to see. We replaced the lamp and this made no improvement. We were still under warranty (by 1 day!!) so we phoned Sanyo and were told that if a replacement lamp didn't fix it then it was likely to be a problem with dust INSIDE the projector on the lenses/mirrors and it would still cost us (about £150 from memory) to get it looked at! We opened it up ourselves and it was very easy to see why the projected image was faint!!
  5. No. Nuff said...
  6. The G1 has a keyboard....
  7. Are they Dell Optiplex 170Ls? (suffering the same problem as here... doors ripped off and/or Dell badges missing...) What size HDDs and RAM do they have? Also, have the Windows key stickers been ripped off?
  8. For the sake of completeness, I'll put links to the other drivers I find here: VGA: Matrox G200e (ServerEngines) - English 6.12.1.1966 software download - Windows - VersionTracker
  9. There were a few people on the HP forums who were looking for XP drivers for this server (!?) and the 2003 ones seemed to work for them.
  10. just "PCI Device", 2 USB controllers and the Video Controller to go and I've got the complete set
  11. Wahaaaaay!! Bl**dy typical... I spend an hour trying and get nowhere, decide to post, and then no sooner I've worked it out for myself. I decided to forget looking via HP and went direct to Broadcom... Broadcom.com - Ethernet NIC NetXtreme Server Driver Downloads It's now working!
  12. It's integrated. Pretty sure it's a NC105i Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter. The CD it came with had 2003 drivers for both Intel N1E and Broadcom NICs. I've tried SO many 2003 .INF files now I'm beginning to lose hope....
  13. Before we start, I already know HP don't support 2000 Server for this model... Also, if your name is AngryTechnician, please click your BACK button now... ) I've managed to get 2000 Server installed (bit fiddly as there are no RAID drivers either) but now I need a driver for the NIC. There are several posts on HP forums where people have had the same problem but noone seems to have posted saying they've fixed it. I've tried extracting the Server 2003 drivers to get the .INF files etc., and manually pointing at them but still no luck. Has anyone else tried (and overcome) this or got any ideas please?
  14. Is this what T-Mobile would have called* the Vario V? (I had a Vario II a couple of years ago, and a mate had the Vario III. Not seen the Vario IV) * I was recently told by a T-Mobile sales drone that they were cancelling the Vario V in favour of the Nokia N97 as "it would sell more units"...
  15. I was under the impression that the 5800 and N97 used the same screen? I'm a Nokia nut myself. I had an E51, and "upgraded" to a 5800 because T-Mobile don't offer either the E75 or N97. If you're after a larger touch screen, how about a G1 or G2? (My wife has a G1 and loves it)
  16. What about a Nokia E75?

  18. Early in the first term in my first year of High School (in NZ) in 1986, a boy tapped the boy next to him (who was one of my mates) on the head with a biro during a Science lesson and they BOTH got the cane for that. Not surprisingly, that teacher didn't have (m)any other problems with the new 3rd formers from then on. And if I was bad at home, my father used to give me "the strap" (it was half of his father's old leather shaving strop) around the backside. One of my mates used to get "the wooden spoon". Another (unlucky) school chum used to get "the jug cord". We all turned out OK. If I ran the country the cane would be reintroduced! I wonder what Jeremy Clarkson's thoughts are on the subject?.....
  19. I've had a message back from our Salto supplier... The phones CAN be used, but they have to be sent away to Spain to be configured!!!??!?
