Common sense says it's dangerous. But is it illegal? I'm trying to find some documentation which confirms this. I can find information on the web relevant to the USA, but not the UK. (e.g in the USA it's illegal to plug a multibox into another one. It's also illegal to use *one* for more than 90 days (i.e they're for temporary use only etc)) Can anyone point me in the right direction for UK-specific info please?

As I've said, the MX record needs to point at owa.fleming-network.co.uk, NOT http://www.fleming-network.co.uk

Sorry Zak. I'm bored. The Mrs is at work and I've had no telly for 2 days. The HDD in my Sky+ box died and my new 500GB one doesn't arrive until Wednesday. Feel sorry for my neighbours..... AC/DC is playing rather loudly (is there any other way?!?) streamed from http://www.planetrock.com

oooh, hijack permission granted... I just can't get used to UK beer (ale). It has the flavour, but it's warm and flat. All NZ beer is good (even Lion Red if there's nothing else going ) Some better than others. Macs Gold is another fav. You can buy it at Gourmet Burger Kitchen. mmmmm Kiwiburger! {drool} Don't get me started on the whole "It's not a *real* burger unless it's got beetroot and an egg in it!" argument...

the MX record only relates to mail. At present it any mail is being referred to your web server, not the mail server. As you said, they're different servers. That's why you're not receiving any mail... Change the MX record....

ick. Lion Red tastes like honey! But stop it... you're making me homesick EDIT: plus we've hijacked Zak's thread. Sorry, Zak!

I think your MX record is wrong... C:\>nslookup Default Server: UnKnown Address: 192.168.1.1:53 > set type=mx > fleming-network.co.uk Server: UnKnown Address: 192.168.1.1:53 Non-authoritative answer: fleming-network.co.uk MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = http://www.fleming-network.co.uk fleming-network.co.uk nameserver = ns2.hosteurope.com fleming-network.co.uk nameserver = ns.hosteurope.com http://www.fleming-network.co.uk internet address = 88.212.171.197 ns.hosteurope.com internet address = 212.67.202.2 ns2.hosteurope.com internet address = 212.67.203.246 Try changing the MX from www. to owa.
