My wife asked me last year what I wanted for Xmas. I said "The AC/DC album Back in Black. NOT their latest CD". She bought me Black Ice. When I said "D'oh!" she said "What!? It had Black in the title!". I still prefer their old material. I'm very jealous! The last band I saw in Welly was Soundgarden (approx 1997?) at the Town Hall. Fantastic acoustics. Wish I'd taken earplugs tho... loudest band I've ever heard. My ears rang for about 2 days afterwards...

"documentate" I know there's no such word. But try telling that to my junior tech. I'm sick of the sound if it.

In my youth, many a happy hour was spent in University computer labs playing this 16-player game on old Macs (LC II's from memory?). Some clever person has ported it to PC: WinBolo http://www.winbolo.com/images/screens/00.jpg http://www.winbolo.com/images/screens/02.jpg

Did anyone else spot the funny bits in the last episode of TG (where the 3 lads are in the office, ringing Insurance companies)? BBC iPlayer - Top Gear: Series 13: Episode 2 (new series) Do you think the photos on their desks are really theirs? Capt. Slow has a photo of the Queen, Hampster has a photo of a Cow, and one of a man with a dog. Later on there is a photo of a dog by itself (and it didn't look like "Top Gear Dog") that I didn't see before. i.e do the photos change? But the funniest bit for me was at 2:57 you can see the Stig in the background using the photocopier...... to photocopy his head!

I'm in the process of evaluating it at the moment, too. I would also really appreciate any widescreen templates anyone has to share...

Don't let AngryTechnician hear you say that link (NSFW) Personally, I like HP switches too. Although we've got 2 old ones which periodically loose VLAN tag settings. I think it might have something to do with power cuts/surges? We use an ancient version of PowerQuest here, but are now looking for an alternative due to it becoming increasingly hard to find DOS drivers for NICs in new PCs. I saw an very informative webcast of Acronis yesterday. I might have to look into RIS and/or Ghost...

not really answering the original question, but on a similar theme..... I was recently watching a documentary about Pterry Pratchett "Living with Alzheimer's" and he had SIX monitors hooked up to his PC in a 3x2 matrix. When asked why he had 6 monitors on his desk, he replied "because I couldn't fit 8!" EDIT: Click here to see a picture

My wife has the G1 and she loves it, apart from the battery life. My contract was up for renewal recently and I considered getting one for a nanosecond, but couldn't drag myself away from Nokia. The decision was made even harder by the fact the T-Mobile don't offer the phone I've been dying to get my hands on (Nokia E75) since it was released
