Have any of you got any experience of any [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near_Field_Communication]NFC[/ame] enabled phones (such as the Nokia 6212) ?? I'd be interested to find out if they are compatible with RFID-type door security systems such as Salto... (Come to think of it, would any other Mifare cards (Oyster, etc) be able to be used?)

Well we've managed to convince the Bursar that the Salto locks were a good idea. 5 installed this week and working well!

Don't be *too* quick to jump on the i7 bandwagon. It depends on what sort of applications* you're going to be running. And a Core2Quad, Core Duo or Core2Duo processor is likely to be much better bang-for-your-buck, leaving more pennies for other components... *e.g Photoshop? - Charts, benchmarks Desktop CPU Charts Q3/2008, Photoshop CS 3
