ONE of the problems with CAGs and the like, is the question that DOE would ask the schools:- 1) What would the pupil achieve now? 2) What could the pupil achieve in the exam session? 3) What do you think the pupil would achieve in the exam session if teaching/revision was uninterrupted? Which is fairest to the pupil? Which is most accurate when comparing to previous/subsequent cohorts, or their peers?

When we changed from Canon to Ricoh, the staff hated them with a burning passion. Admittedly a few years ago now, the interface may have improved. We went back to Canon.

How's your soldering? I suspect it wouldn't be beyond the wit of many to open it up, whip the thermistor out and move it a few cm away. That said, it may well all be surface-mount and impossible to separate the component.

I'd aim for Soundcraft or Allen & Heath analogue desks for simplicity and quality. Behringer if you want to head towards digital - lots of ways for the fiddling fingers to screw up though.

It is sorted at the kerb side; 4 or more bins to empty into different holes. Very different animal to a wheelie bin collector. Not saying it isn't a "good thing" - but it does work well as a rolling roadblock.

Also consider who will operate the kit. Giving the job to "that pupil" because they are hopless in the play - not necessarily going to work. Storage, and running repairs, will be an extra cost.

Yeah, but it is Guzzi specific. Beware chip-set issues. ISTR "London Electric" Lon-Elec were favoured, but I've had mine so long I can't remember the details.
