  1. Thanks for the responses, the Soundcraft Signature looks like a good option, similiar to what we have so people can get used to it easier and seems like a good price.
  2. I need some recomendations for a replacement mixing desk because sound equipment is somewhat of an unknown to me and I don't know what brands are decent and reliable. We currently have a Stagecraft Spririt SX (like this: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/2TkAAOSwTQdjdOAj/s-l1600.jpg) with 20 channels but it has developed an intermittent crackling issue which we need to get rid of. We can get it to go away by wiggling the faders or cables sometimes but it's requiring way to much looking after now. We currently are using the mix and sub outputs that go out to 4 speakers (2 front, 2 back) and can utilise the majority of the channels during drama productions so capability wise, I think we're looking for a like-for-like as opposed to adding/reducing features.
  3. In case anyone comes across this, Adobe says there's no way to change this behaviour. There's recomendation was to either increase storage space for affected users or to go back to Animate 2020 which doesn't have the default assets. Now excuse me while I go and clean up a bunch of student user areas...
  4. We've just installed Adobe Animate CC and it appears on first run for a user it copies all the default assets (About 250MB) to the users Documents folder. This didn't throw any obvious error and it wasn't until they started trying to use these assets that an error came up saying they "can't be downloaded from the server". Dug about a bit then found the assets under "Documents\Adobe\Animate\2021\Assets\Default" and some users home drives maxed out during the copy which meant not all the assets were copied and hence the (misleading) error. Anyone know how to stop this behaviour in Animate? I can't seem to find much about it on Google or Adobe's resources. It'd be nice if they just pulled them from the Program Files. I've opened a support request with Adobe hoping they may have an answer but I think I trust Edugeek more!
  5. I initially thought of that but unfortunately they use a writing tablet for annotating slides so reading view or the individual use option are out the window because they don't have the pen tools (not entirely sure why!). Viable work arounds are either staying in edit more and using the pen tools tab or teaching them how to use Alt+Tab. It was more to try and gauge whether something had changed in functionality that I wasn't aware of.
  6. Hi all, I'm pretty new to the GSuite environment (last couple of weeks) and I've got a couple of users who are saying that their Meet experience with full screen Powerpoint presentations has changed. Their previous process was they'd open Powerpoint, share the window and then when they went into full screen mode, it would share that too. Now it only presents the main Powerpoint window. I understand that full screen mode and the main window are two different windows but I just wanted to know if Meet has some way around this and detects when the presentation moves to full screen mode and something has gone wrong or it's just a coincidence that a couple of users have reported a change in behavior at the same time. Thanks in advance.
  7. Doesn't this do it per student as opposed to registration group?
  8. Sorry, I should have specified it needs to be a report I can run through CommandReporter and I don't think it's possible with the built in reports?
  9. Hi all! I was just wondering if it was possible to create a SIMS report to output total attendance % for reg groups within a date range. I know how I can get this for individual students and calculate it after but was hoping there was a way just to have it output it from the start to make life slightly easier? Thanks in advance.
