Lablogger is primarily for booking practicals / demos in a lab, against a teacher. It does have some stocktaking facilities, but I've not explored them as I only deal in discrete items, not grams of potions. For bookings it is very good, and only about £100 year. Free for the first, so well worth trying. There is an active, and usually sensible, Facebook group - School Science Technicians. You don't get too many - I need a car to carry 5 children" - "I've got a Micra, it's brilliant" type threads. CLEAPPS might have suggestions - if your school subscribe, which is quite likely.

I'd agree with Ditto - but that pond looks cold.

I've got smart things now. Drayton Wiser thermostatic valves means we can set different rooms/times/temperatures. So, the only room in the house (except bathroom & toilet) being heated is the one I'm in, feeling ill.

That IS NOT what your teachers are going to expect. You've spent money on buying or hiring kit, therefore they will expect to be able to hear everyone - clearly. That is NOT going to happen.

Program in a few downs through the day. So if someone boosts and forgets, the system will reduce temp in a few hours anyway. AND a very late one, for when kids get home from the pub and turn it all on again!

Depends. They all needed cool down time a while back, but changes in lamp tech could have reduced this requirement.

Check for the cooling path being blocked by dust. Replace noisy fans - any electronics supplier will do case fans to fit.

If your projector is fed by some other electronics (switch/amplifier/scaler), this can provide a signal that prevents shutdown. Weirdly, I see this on a few of ours, despite them being very similar, if not identical, set ups.

Sonic for PM! I'd add to that - an integrated approach to transport. Bus stations at rail stations. Timetables than work - so you don't get to a station to find your connection fails by 59 minutes - every damn time.

And in fact they aren't even looking at long haul - this is for short haul that really should be done by train. (With obvious exceptions)

Having watched a Saturn 1b launch from within Canaveral, I can well imagine the sound. The closest thing I've heard since is a Vulcan taking off at Farnborough; but that was A LOT closer! Your chest vibrates, and the ground does shake. Sorry about the quality - my father let the slides gather dust, and fade rather badly.
