Maybe (without looking) just a sheet of 2mm-ish aluminium. Drill holes to match VESA spacing, and another to match mouning holes on PC. I have done similar in the past, but can't be sure that you can access the mounting holes while on the stand.

Yes. Video straight to the camera app in Windoze. That's a snapshot taken this morning. The image was saved on the camera using the built in button, but using the app, it saves to Windows.

We use a Flir C5 Flir have (had?) a monopoly on the hardware for a while. It does a nice "mixed" image mode.

You'll regret it... 3l diesel - £800 for a cam belt change (I knew that was coming). 10 days later a 1/2 shell went. £4k. Then all the electrics started going west.
