    I've got a couple of rocks that fall into that category - may have to dispose of them following a change of advisor. As I understand it, it is damage / disposal of compasses that gets exciting.

    If this is 1/2 as good as the book (and it blddy better be!) it will be really good. The book is well worth a read. Avoid the trailers - they give an awful lot away.

    I've got some snake oil for sale... The Amazon Basics cables are OK, but screening and longevity in a pro environment? Nah - I'll make my own looking like the OP's .

    No - coming from a stereo jack in a 2core & ground (microphone type) cable, looping ground through the first connector and on to the second, with a core to each pin... I must have made dozens over the years.

    Do you realize how tight some schemes of work are? Within subjects, if you want to add anything, something else gets dropped. We're looking at a new A level provider. They've added space and cosmology, but dropped electronics to make room.
