changed the printing defaults to auto review the job and no change. using the debug options and setting the page to be viewed in "10" mode and the box does appear, the example site i have used is just MSN.com and in this mode the site doesnt work properly and complains . must be a driver issue when processing print jobs from IE surely

yeah the pin box doesnt appear, but they get a message to "check user number" and then the pin box should appear. its a Sharp MX363N

i think i might have brought MoP but became annoyed with the game as it required too much time, so i drifted into SC2 which is fine but that has a huge skill wall to climb to enjoy it and i miss the social of WoW, can i justify resubing and purchasing the expac for the social aspect

Anyone else use sharp multifunction copiers with job accounting and found an issue where the user is not prompted to enter a number even though it says you need to? Issue only appears to affect later versions of IE, other applications dont exhibit the problem. Been working with sharp the last couple of days to resolve the problem but interested if others have been affected.

Has anyone found that flash 15 is appearing to ignore disabling the auto update feature in the mms.cfg and displaying the option in control panel. im sure in previous versions this was not the case and the update options were greyed out.

SCCM is based around SQL? if it is you could lift the DB and import it into another instance of SQL and install the other requirements for it

[sims] Everyone ready for the move to SQL 2012/2014?
SHimmer45 replied to localzuk's topic in MIS Systems
will be getting ready for this shortly, i don't fancy doing it "inhouse" so will look for assistance from capita, id like to do a migration but not on our live sims.net setup. not for a 1st time in case of an issue -
only experience of VMware is the old vmware server on server 2008 which works well and is free, havent looked at ESXI as went with hyper-v as it is a more familiar platform. running a hyper visor from a USB stick is something i havent looked into seeing if hyper-v server can manage this.

Dell Poweredge 510 couple of quad Xeons and 16GB ram (not 100% if its fully using it as depending on the version you have of SQL and the OS there are limitations to max ram) Server 2008 Enterprise X86 on the advice of our LEA (it does see all of the installed ram joy of PAE)

if the GPO is upgrading an install it will need to have access to the older version of the MSI / or if you are adding an additional package to your "java GPO" it will assume you want to upgrade the old one.

licensing issue? inside the users profile in appdata in the adobe folder there is a logfile which details EVERYTHING the hideous program is doing and that might give you more information \Users\\AppData\Local\temp logs held: PDApp.log – Contains calls between the launch components. Oobelib.log -- Contains the actions that you took in the user interface during the launch process. Amt3.log – Contains licensing-related information.

removing old users from folder security
SHimmer45 replied to jjohnsoncantell's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
icalcs can do this without damaging the existing permissions and it has a backup feature in case there is a problem. -
un powered can cause signal loss and are a pain with certain tft screens. powered ones we use are made by Aten and we get them from CPC @ 29.00 each, plug in and forget.

whenever iam dealing with java i use PStools to remove the old version of java rather than relying on MSI upgrades where possible with java. i have used dism in the past to update an image with IE10 as there was a bug with installing it and then capturing the image (option in the answer file causes an issue with IE10). i imagine that @Davit2005 has a couple of options in his task sequences to start windows update.

have you created a default profile? as that might have an issue?. if you have manually cleared out the registry then the machine should recreate the user ok.

for testing RLP stuff and also as a temp server i have used this EasyPHP | Install a local WAMP server : PHP 5 VC9, Apache 2 VC9, MySQL 5, PhpMyAdmin, Xdebug and Modules on Windows XP/Vista/Seven in the past on windows platforms works well as WAMP package

+1 on the advanced installer

flash needs to be burnt with fire, however dont get me started on Java 8 and the stupid default of blocking EVERYTHING and not taking wildcards for local ip ranges.... (so each printer IP needs to be added) and it also appears to reset the security level as it pleases...

cheers for the replies. in a fit of rage uninstall game has been removed so actually going to convert it to be more focused as a virtual machine and actually achieve something. so looks like an install of hyper-v server 2012 or 2012 is incoming.. would appear easier than attempting vmware as im sure the installer would have a fit at the hardware lol

im 90% sure i have enabled using hardware virt support. will double check this this evening. i did forget to mention that my boot drive is a single ssd and all the VM and iso's are on the raided volume
