Unless you are blocking it, could you not run command prompt as administrator then type rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,,2 to get access to personalisation. Had the same issue with one user who needed aero theme on to access affinity draw.

To create a static dns record. Make sure you have the ip and fqdn of all statically assigned devices. You will need to remove the dynamically assigned record first in forward lookup zones > domain name > host A record. Then right click> new host A or AAAA. Insert fqdn and ip and select create associated PTR record to create reverse record.

Hi if you have statically set ip addresses for servers usually I would manually create dns records for them so scavenging doesn't remove the records. Is dhcp being used to assign dns records when a dhcp lease has expired?

Hi An ex colleague created a development vm using virtualbox that students use for development. I have been asked to add more software to the vm which is stored on each computers c drive. Looking at the image its been set to immutable. Is there anyway of disabling it, as I cant seem to be able to find the original base image?

Hi We are having a few strange issues with staff and students not being able to open content on one drive using internet explorer as the content is greyed out? Seems random as it is only effecting a few computers.

Hi As Serif are moving down the Affinity route and discontinuing WebPlus and MoviePlus products, what are schools now using for web design and movie creation when moving to Windows 10? I don't think we could afford the new adobe cc licensing subscription service. Jon

Would be nice to cut down on some of our vm's that are needed for SSO. Currently have 2 federated servers and 2 waps but as we have exchange hybrid and the phone system is linked, there is no point with me changing at the moment.
