  3. Yep, I have tried roaming profiles with 2004, and get the same issue. Also know that there is an issue when you try and copy out a profile to create a mandatory profile. Think it's time to look at an alternative solution. UE-V or fslogix.

  6. I dont think there is an alternative with led projectors. Most are made for hall setups not classroom environments.
  7. Heard this from a reputable company today. As from the end of June 2020 Casio will no longer be supplying the LED projector range in Europe and the UK. Shame really as that's what I have been replacing projectors with for the last couple of years. Jon
  8. What about a portal by Facebook. My uncle bought my grandad one last month. Seems easy to setup and video chat through messenger. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Portal-Facebook-Hands-Free-Calling-Built/dp/B07XY7NRH5
  9. I used to work at a school that had five classroom\it suites like this, and in my opinion they don't work. A large number of pop up desks were wrecked after 3 years, due to the weight placed on top of them. We found that desks would break and fall through. Probably caused by students sitting on them. Also layout of a ict room is key to stopping malicious damage. The normal classroom layout of multiple rows facing a teacher doesn't work for a ict room. This is because teachers won't be able to see what students are doing to the computers.
  10. Contacted them this lunchtime. It's been escalated up the chain, but no resolution yet. A member of the helpdesk team tested one of the staff members accounts and could reproduce the fault. So it's not a internal filtering issue.
  11. Anyone else having issues with the new interface. Specifically the modules menu showing blank. I have large number of staff who are having issues. But not everyone.
  12. I have been looking at replacing my ISCSI san switches recently to move up 10g-base-t. Was suggested 2 x JL075A- Aruba 3810M 16SFP+ 13.5mb shared buffer and 2 x JL081A - Aruba 3810M 10 GbE HPE Smart Rate Module - wasn't cheap and this with modules only provided 8 x 10g-base-t ports. Though I don't need more than this.
  13. I don't know if isams have tools built in to do this. But SalamanderSoft have a tool that may help. https://www.salamandersoft.co.uk/sds/

  16. Here is video on how to do it
  17. Extract the cab file with 7zip. You will find the files you need.
  18. It's really easy to add and remove shortcuts from local start menu using group policy - User Configuration, Preferences,WindowsSettings,Shortcuts, NewShortcut.
  19. Maybe not, moving from ntlm authentication to IDEX client on my smoothwall. Don't know if that is going to cause issues.
  20. Tested doesn't work with the removal with LMA agent.
  21. Hi, Our lightspeed bottle rocket appliance died last year, so we moved to smoothwall. Does anyone have a way to force remove the LMA Agent? Jon
