  1. Perfect sense mate, that's probably why my washing up hasn't been done. I know it has to be done, but do i really WANT to?
  2. Hehe yeah, I'd also be tempted with an "Educational" Games section
  3. I don't usually do this but ....... "With 1 meg of RAM i'm not surprised!" Apologies, it's Monday I need to feel self-important about other peoples errors
  4. I wouldn't mind touching on reviewing some Primary School software. I'm sure theres a few people in the Primary Social Group who wouldn't mind giving some input there too.
  5. Lol, steady on this is Edugeek not the prying eyes of the SMT! Relax and grab a brew!
  6. Perhaps a Q&A kind of area with questions posted from this forum, the most popular for the month or something similar. Having issues dedicated to certain topics or software that would be useful in schools at little cost. Just basically making sure that people know, who don't have time, what is available and how they can do it! My business shall be hopefully up and running a bit more within the next 3 to 4 months so i'm hoping I can make a contribution to the cause financially, I'm not promising anything but it would certainly something I would like to do.
  7. I'd quite like to help out in some way, would be nice to give something back after all the ideas and help this site has given me over the past couple of years.
  8. I had a similar problem, I would recommend using the new package as that brings better security. The 1.5 package seems to be a target on these forums, Mr.KsA isn't on my top friends list I tell thee
  9. My Dark Sector arrived in the post yesterday, haven't even unwrapped it. Is it good? Although I can't see it being played for a while as i'm just going from Medium to Hard on World Tour and I need to keep the momentum Have fun this weekend guys and gals! Enjoy!

  19. 5. Primaries (not all) tend to be scared of these things as it completely changes current methods. I tried and tried within my school for some feedback. Basically they were not interested. Which was a shame One of the reasons I left
  20. I bet it's a damn sight better than Wellingborough mate Although a walk in Irchester Country Park was nice yesterday with the little'un, however perhaps a little chilly (can you bring back some sun with you!)
  21. It sounds like a nice idea for primary schools but again it will be about the staffing within these schools. Having a group of a few children on the interactive tables is great, but what about the 25 other children that need their needs met too. Fair enough some schools have the staff, but it's down to that at then end of the day. Some schools have all their TA's tied up with reading and writing schemes that REQUIRE a constant daily timetable. Would be great for kids to use these things though, just needs an interactive adult to watch over them too (at no additional cost)
  22. You've really got to think about projectors too. Are they going to be any good in 3 years? What is the bulb replacement availability going to be? Nothing worse then finding no one stocks the bulbs anymore, especially when it hasn't been budgeted for. (wasn't my fault )
  23. I had a headache all sunday (not entirely drink related!) so I went bed early last night and woke up feeling great. Typical.
