    You say shortcuts to. The favourites and documents are normally stored under C:\Users\Username assuming they are not redirected.

    We have RealVNC on each of our digital signage PC's. Works a treat.

    Staff are not to turn their projectors on until the register is taken and SIMS has been closed. The responsibility is on the staff.

    We measured 15 seconds in the holidays. On a school day (factoring in dc requests, profile read time etc) it took 30-40 seconds.

    We hide all taskbar icons and provide a shortcut to the volume mixer on their desktops.

    Is it an HP (I only mention HP as its the only server kit I use)? Does it have iLO? You could do a scheduled task to sleep at a certain time then use WOL to wake it up?

    Nick, when you hover over a point on the graph in the Web Tracker you are given a number. Mine stands at around 2000. What does this figure represent?

    I use Mandatory profiles here but a local copy is still created at login. When they log off delprof2 deletes it. All of their Desktop, My docs etc are redirected.

    You need a local profile on a machine in order for it to function. What are you trying to achieve?

    Do you use job accounting on the MFD?

    I had this not long ago but only with our HP laserjets. Turned out the driver was 4 years old and was fixed with a new one.

    Can you try changing the MFD to colour by default and see if the iPad will print in colour then?
