    I have a scheduled task to run at 19:00 everyday which runs shutdown.exe /f pushed via GPO. Simple and works a treat! Get PowerMAN if you want reports etc but no need for software.

    Tough Mudder

    But is it started? Typically it does not start until an audio device is plugged in.

    I start the Audio service at logon for all users, this makes the PC think there is a device installed. Probably not the best solution but it was quick and worked!

    I don't edit the default domain policy, its best practice. For things like that I created a GPO at the top level of the domain and set all generic settings there. Things like "Do not display last username, default logon domain, always use custom wallpaper" And yes, students GPO is at the Students top level OU.

    Then use Windows Components > Windows Explorer > Disable windows explorers default context menu. Note that this only applies to Windows Explorer and not IE or other applications.
