  5. I'd assume that it's stored in the drives Firmware and not on the storage disk itself.

  8. I use TP link homeplugs at home, was about £40 for the sender and receiveer. And it doesnt touch your electricity bill as nothing leaves the meter. It just uses the wiring as data cabling.

  11. I have to admit, when I first built my WDS server I was confused as to why it wanted to write to disk!
  12. I use an External HDD for this here and it works well. Can you open a CMD window (Shift + F10) and map a shared drive that way?

  20. As TechMonkey said, now log on as Admin and look through event viewer and look for anything relating to the drive map.
  21. Open regedit and Edit > Find. Type Profilelist and hit Find. When its found it, expand ProfileList and look for the key corresponding to the users profile. Delete the key. Log back on
