Hopefully somebody will be able to help with this. We recently replaced all of our Epson projectors the awkward yet useful Smart E70. Before the work was even carried out the Business Manager had agreed to donate some of our old projectors to a Secondary School so that they could use them. Does anyone have any insights into the rules and regulations on doing this? Or some very good 'For' and 'Against' arguments? I was told in passing that technically we can't legally do it but I can't remember the specific reasoning behind it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, Hoping someone can help me to answer a seemingly stupid question. I work in a sixth form college in Leicester and we're working on getting our Windows Firewall enabled on client devices. The group policy I was building was going swimmingly, until I tried to roll it out to a set of machines (typical). As soon as the firewall was enabled, user policies will not pull down from our DC's. Computer policies seem to be ok, but we get an error when trying a gpupdate for the user policy. We have our firewall default action for all inbound/outbound to block, unless it matches a rule of ours. I have added the necessary ports for DC client communication, as recommended by Microsoft, as well as the necessary group policy ports, but still seems to be a problem. DNS is also opened and all other DC communication is ok, nothing else seems to be an issue. I used a lot of the preset rules from Microsoft to allow the necessary ports anyway, so I really dont see what I'm missing. I've been through all the Microsoft tables and checked every port, yet still no luck. Anyone got any ideas? Am I missing anything? For obvious reasons I wont screenshot our firewall rules, but happy to answer questions if needed. Thank you for any ideas Chris

I've recently gone to full cloud with office 365 (no hybrid anymore) The accounts are still synced via local AD. I've had a member of staff change their name and we have a naming rule set for them. Now I've changed the staff members name and it's synced to o365 I can't figure out how to get o365's exchange to re-apply the naming rule to update their email address. This is NOT the UPN, I'll change that manually later.

Within the Office 365 Web App for Mail there is an option to create mailbox rules e.g. mark email from ? as read and move to ? folder. When I chose the option 'Create Rule' from the menu, it displays "The option you chose isn't available". Is there an Admin setting I've turned off? Or just a bug? I have tried other users within the organisation, and the same thing happens.
