About Dgarcia15

  1. So this will force whoever logs in to use this profile instead of creating one for each user? Will it still redirect their folders? for example the documents folder to their network share?
  2. Is there anyway to have it just use a default profile but still be able to keep unique logins, since everythything is redirected to the sever share anyway? I have about 600 users (students) and they are always using different computers, when logging in for the very first time it can take a while to create that profile.
  3. Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to not have a local account be created for a user each time they log into a computer for the first time. For example, when a user logs into a computer for the very first time it says preparing desktop, is there any way to prevent that ? Thank you.
  4. Hello, I'm sure this topic has been covered countless times but i have unable to get it to work for myself. I have a 2008 r2 server setup in a HS with users having their own home folder on a network drive, I have been unsuccessful in getting this folder to be redirected to their documents folder on the computer. When they came to install the server the guy said they had been having trouble getting the feature working. I am basically self taught when it comes to windows server environment and have been learning as I go along with no support, I have been able to get along pretty good up till now but require some help on the more complex issues. If anyone could help a poor guy out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
