I've had this from a few people on LinkedIn lately. -
I've done clean installs on a few machines for friends and family recently because the machines were running so slow after an upgrade. I would advise people to upgrade home machines first though to ensure the machine registers with Microsoft, then do a fresh install afterwards so it activates.

That is lucky! I've lost count of the amount of times that i've gone to the car after work to find it's been recording all day!

I was reluctant to add my dashcam onto my policy as now and again I forget to plug it in. I've just been shopping round for my renewal and was only asked by 1 insurer if I had one. I did wonder if they would ask about manufacturer though so i'm glad to hear that the other option was there. I have the E-PRANCE G1W

If you are into Sport I think BT have a 4K channel now too. Other than that you could test it out with some videos from youtube.

Try pushing out the following registry keys Via Group Policy. Tried it in a test environment and it seemed to work. HTTP - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations\http HTTPS - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations\https

Where do you buy your replacement laptop screens?
jonnykewell1 replied to SpaceInvader83's topic in Hardware
If I remember right, I think i've bought screens from @Millgate before -
I think I have found the issue with this specific laptop. I have disabled two start-up items. One is "Toshiba Places Icon Utility" and the other "Sony PC companion". Both were listed has High on the start-up impact list.

Any other suggestions on this? I have tried all of the above but still nothing. I even started to get this after the sfc /scannow "The Group Policy Client Service Failed The Sign-in. The Universal Unique Identifier (UUID) Type Is Not Supported". It's a home laptop too.

Thanks, I did a search in the windows 10 forum too and must have missed this article.

Hello all, Have any of you experienced High disk Usage on Windows 10 after an upgrade? I've seen a couple of laptops now that seem to be hitting 99%-100% constantly making the laptop unusable. Looking in task manager the two services using the most resources are System and Service host: local system (17). Both peak at around 0.4mb/s. (Does the 17 mean that the service is running 17 times?) see screenshot below. I've read online about SSD firmwares but this laptop doesn't even have an SSD in and I've also read about disabling the windows 10 helper pop ups but no difference. Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C855-1WN Windows 10 Any suggestions as to what this might be would be great. Thanks

Cannot Sign up to Code Academey (www.codeacademy.com)
jonnykewell1 replied to chrisbagnall's topic in Coding
Is this when logging in with an organisation e-mail account? We've had an issue with students trying to sign in with their school Google accounts but because they have signed up with a code academy account before and assigned that e-mail address to the account it says they already have an account. I've got them to press "forgot my password" , reset their password, login with the code academy account and then delete their account. Then try and login with their Gmail account and it worked. -
Last pass - password manager Waze - Nice little sat nav program Uber - ordering taxis Chrome Beta - fast browser Google photos - backup camera photos to the cloud Fing - great for scanning the network to find out Ip / mac address of devices, run ping tests etc speed test - broadband speed checker wifi analyzer - for scanning wifi channels speeds etc Chromecast app

What is the plan going forward for you guys? We have a number of old smart boards that have lost accuracy now. Are you replacing them with new boards or interactive TVs? Not something that we have usually accounted for in our yearly budget but might have to consider some sort of plan.

Got to see it fly down at Rhyl in August and it was brilliant

Hey would you be able to tell me the make/model of the DVR please?

D3100, 200mm Nikon Lens, had it on the tripod and used my remote shutter release, didn't bother with a timer. Switched to Manual on the lens and the body. I couldn't seem to get it to focus at 200mm so had to take it out a little. ISO i believe was 100, and I played around with the shutter speeds. Nothing too slow as my friend mentioned that if you go too slow you can get motion blur from the earth rotation. -

This is one I took the other night with my Camera. Happy with this, keeps a decent quality when zoomed in too.
