Can you use wireshark to capture one of the packets to see if it is a DHCPOFFER message from the mavericks server and to see what information is contained in it? If it is a DHCPOFFER message then it must be sending it out from a request from a client machine wanting an IP.

I would second what @sted said. Had the same problem recently. make sure the windows server, the mac server and the clients are all pointing to the same time server. If it is out by just a couple of minutes it can cause headaches.

For the settings 'Join Domain After Imaging' Try removing the organisational unit path that you specified for your machines to go into in AD, just to test if your having a problem with the container syntax. Just to add to this, I have had a report that intouch is down today from one of our members of staff, I noticed the openVPN wasn't connecting. Looking into this now.

Do you need to turn anything on in the office 365 cloud to allow imap/pop connections? I don't use office 365 but in our google mail system we need to allow imap or pop connections in the users accounts first.

Have you considered a Note 3? I spent a good few months looking through all the reviews, I wanted an S5 or sony xperia Z2 but i've gone for the Galaxy Note 3 and I love it. Through Mobile phones direct I managed to pick one up on Tmobile at £25 a month, about £20 cheaper than the S5 or HTC were going to cost and not a ton of difference in spec.

are you all still using the same v5 link? I have just been given a different one as one of our primary schools can not download the CIDs folder using this link. I have checked permissions to make sure its not our server that can't create the folder, all I can think of is that it is the external update server path that isn't working.

I used clonezilla in my previous school and yeah it did a job but it's got nothing on MDT or fog. We use fog here and in a number of our primary schools and it works really well. If I were you I would use fog and just get a USB to ethernet adapter and use the PXE boot. I have it running off an UBUNTU VM with a couple of gigs of ram. It builds a nice little inventory system which binds to the computers MAC address making it real easy to deploy/capture an image and will rename the machine after the cloning process completes.

The only issue with that is, you'll get 50 people turn up at 3pm wanting it doing.

our sophos is now moved over to the YHGFL from LLN and as far as I am aware there are no issues with fetching the updates. we just changed the url to their own update server.

just migrating the last of our users emails, then the last of our schools are having their phone systems switched on Thursday and FRIDAY! cutting it fine!
