  1. I for one hope this dosnt happen. I like my e-mails separate! Or if it does happen that the share option is automatically greyed out!
  2. I will never forget watching a junkie picking clean a blackberry bush... he didnt know this rule!
  3. Teachers clean them here, when they need it. We sometimes get phonecalls from the primarys asking how to clean them :-/
  4. I get it on my feet sometimes. Any sort of cold cream soothes it and some people claim antihistamine can stop it appearing... I've not tried that though.
  5. If you already have a google account then you can sign in here, no invite required.
  6. Feel free to pm me your gmail address and i can invite aswel.
  7. I have invites aswell. They have been throttled though, so no en-mass invites. If you only invite a few folk at a time its fine. The android app is also excellent, Huddle is going to be very useful!
  8. Also cause we have 'the wrong kind of snow' in that it melts a little during the day then freezes overnight and creates that inch think ice below 6 inches of snow that we had last winter!
  9. Not a proper 'stand up' comedian but funny none the less is Tim Minchin who is my comedy choice just now. Mark Watson is another. Robin Ince, Mark Parker and Helen Arney are amusing too. Ask me again after August though and I will have more

    Bad wrists

To me it sounds like its more to do with how you use the mouse/trackball than the actually device. Do you use a wrist rest? Do you move only your wrist when using them or do you let you whole arm move? How far away from your body is the mouse/trackball? I suffer from sore wrists from time to time. I find using an erognomic keyboard and keeping the mouse relativley close to my body helps. Wrist rests give me a sore wrists within mintues of using them. A trick I was told (and seems to work) was to keep your elbow off the desk while using the mouse, not sure how this would work for a trackball however. Could the hight of the track ball be causing your pain? Lucky you at getting referd to a specialist! I've been waiting for nearly 4 years...
  11. It is indeed Mr Fry doing the voice :-) The updates you need when you first turn the console on are the longest. After that its pretty much 1 system update every few months that takes maybe 15min to download/install. Depending on your games you might get updates for them too, but they vary... I prefer PS3 over xbox, simply because the ps3 does a whole lot more than play games. I had a launch model 60gb which I had no issues with untill March, when after marathon sessions of Assasins Creed and Demon Souls it started overheating, and eventully the solder on the motherboard melted... Just replaced it last month with a new Slim model, and very pleased with it Seems to run quieter and syncs with my telly aswell!
  12. Tim Minchin is my artist of choice for car music just now.
  13. Its pretty and nice to look at, but not productive in my eyes. I am not a fan of sore necks and one handed typing.
  14. I asked TMobile this yesterday through twitter. Response is attached.
  15. I have a HTC Hero and don't use HTC Sync at all. All my contacts are saved as 'Google' contacts and so are sync'ed with my gmail account. I've had to send it away to get 'fixed' twice now, both times it has been wiped. Once I get it back all I have to do is link it back to my gmail account and all my contacts/mail/calander are pulled down. I've never had an issue with it, and love the fact I can edit my contacts from within gmail. No need to install software and drivers and other fluff I am sure there will be a 'how to' or an app to convert sim contacts to google contacts if you want to go down this road.
  16. agreed! Sounds quiet interesting what facebook are doing though....
  17. Thanks, will go try it out!
  18. Spotify sounds like the culprit tbh, there are some apps on the market that monitor and report back which apps are using what, but i dont use them so cant report back. T-mobile has 3gb FUP that suits me. :-) 3g watchdog isa handy wee app tho! I regarly go over 400mb/pm, but I do use the internet a lot :-/
  19. I've wanted a 'Lamp' (or Noddy as we called them) for ages now. Really like a design :-) Unfortunatly I couldnt give ones a new home when the schools were getting refereshed, they all when to other schools

    Jury service

They seem to like me for some reason, been called up twice in the 3 years I have been eligable! But fortunatly I wasnt selected to acctually be on the jury, still a waste of 3 days each time :-/ Agree on taking a book... You'll spend most of your time hanging around. They are good at paying you though, very efficent for a change!

    Imaging Mac's

What I used to do, these were not set up on A/D or anything though, so not sure if it will be beinifcial or not. Set up ones mac the way you want it, then boot up another, connect a firewire cable between them and on the 2nd mac select 'transfer information from another mc' or words to that effect. You do have to revisit each mac and rename it though, unless you want them all named the same! For the windows partision, if you run bootcamp to partision the mac as FAT32 and then boot back into OSX before windows setup you can simply copy all the contents of the 'Windows HD' on your first mac into the new 'Windows HD' on the 2nd mac. This saves a lot of time and button clicking... You should then convert the windows drive to NTFS so people on the mac side dont delete the files!
  22. I preffer bigger engines aswell. My wee 1.2 Clio does struggle quite badly on some of the hills around here, even when its dropped down a gear or two, still struggles. So glad its normaly just me in the car, dread to think what it would be like if I have a passanger or two! When this cars time is up I'll poably be looking at a 1.6-2.0 desiel, for more comfortable driving and not having to will it up hills! (And I will proably get better mpg aswell!)
  23. Not sure if you have looked at this site, but it seems to have everything you can do regarding calendar. Google Calendar Not sure about the calendar side of it, but the gmail app for symbian phones only updated when u asked it too, so very little data transfer.
  24. From my experience it seems older driver dont know, or choose not to follow proritys. Instead they just barge their way through. Where i stay there is lots of cars parked in the street, and plenty of places where two cars cant pass. But in the year that i have lived here I've noticed that its almost always older drivers that barge through. Very rarely have I come nose to nose with a younger driver in that situation. The Pass Plus thing is a great idea, but after shelling out £800 on lessons and tests, paying an extra 160ish for pass plus, that only gets you a disscount from a few (expensive) insurers makes you think if its really worth it? I would have loved to go on it, but I was cheeper not doing it putting the money towards insurance for my car, which was less without the disscount from the different company than one on the list of disscounts for Pass Plus drivers.
  25. If they have a scroll wheel on their mouse they should be able to hold down CTRL and scroll the wheel to zoom. No idea about how to get the menu's back though, we're still on IE7...
