Any groups missing ? are these the security groups in Active directory for kids and Staff try this first though when you originally set up did u do the nocache thing in IIS ? if you did > remove it .. If you did not > Add it.

Post your whole config file . Replacing the password with something else I cant see a problem with the above

I have thanked you a few times nick but let me say again what a BRILL ! program for free I imagine if you even sold this for £50 a school licence you would get many schools intrested I have had it running for a while now and on average get between 10-50 logins a day I even have it mapped so the ICT teachers can access the kids work . Saves them a lot of hassle Taking home lots of paper and saves the Trees ! Well done for such a great program !

our current broadband is 10mB up and 10mB down via a Wireless Link . This is getting replaced with a fibre link soon. Leased Lines are too expensive We require a good upload speed because of all the services i have moved inhouse . So that basically rules out any ADSL business connnection . Virgin was the only Valid alternative offering a good speed at a good price

i could only find two Providers that suited our needs Virgin or the council run service Virgin - Same price but a better speed . But lacked a proxy Council run - Lower speed But provided all our support and a Brilliant Proxy As im running things on my own the councils one made more sence . Plus we have a 1gb internal Ring Not many companys meet the upload needs of our school as well as the download

Is there a hole for a kensington lock ? I would not trust a ipad unlocked in a classroom of kids ! Why not buy one of them chinese alternatives ? that run a normal OS Cheaper and more praticle in the long run ( Even though they will only be atom 1.6 processors)

Ive done it once , Try and keep the old DC Offline and intact and not format it ! i did this once and all roles had not transferd ! lol

A lot of external companys also use this method when mapping drives Instead of using a VBS under a OU they tend to Put a logon.bat on the individual account

using local profiles ? Seems like a scripting issue as suggested above I use one script at logon to remove and readd the drives

It was a theme issue . God knows why But to make things a bit more complicated .. i also had the GC replaced yesterday from dell as it was crashing my little alienware

not sure if its my windows theme. But my firefox browser was really playing up with hardware acceleration enabled the top of the window was black and was flickering like crazy Once i disabled 'hardware acceleration' it seems ok now Nice browser just very strange i cant use 'hardware acceleration' on my laptop it has a nvidia 1gb 260m gtx ... so doubt its a GC issue ?

location is the key A computer shop for e.g. in a line of shops in a highstreet would do very well. You normally find though that most PC repair places are in the most weirdest of places ! ( i assume cheap rent ) If you could open a shop with a Internet cafe/gaming place out back it would do well in a key location But setup costs for a gaming suite is quite high Good Luck

I did make a script once .. for italc When the teacher logs in it replaces there global file in italc so they only get the room of the suite they are logged into. So you wouldnt need channels

Even though mine does not show the current logged in user . It shows how many staff and Pupils are logged in etc Which i think for my needs is better . I used craigs login tracker Craig A Rodway And modified the Code a bit to only display what i need
