Hi, I'm looking for free classroom control software. We currently use Lanschool but we are trying to come away and use a free alternative, does anyone know of any? We know there is iTALC, however it doesn't have channels so it wouldn't be practical for differnet ICT suites. Ideally we need to be able to: (1) Block computer screen (not a must but would be nice) (2) block internet on a computer (3) see what they are doing and control the machine. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks, James

I know that you can have a webpage as a background on XP. But how would you set that so it is deafult for all network users?

is impero a free piece of software? Where can I find it, as I can't find it on the internet. Everything I find is blocked by our filtering. Do you know the product website address?

Hi - thanks for the reply. I can boot up normally and access Windows, I can also save to the hard drive. I will give a go at your suggestions. I need to re-install as it keep having errors, that we have no idea what is causing them. The errors include, computer freezing when a spell check occurs, wireless not working properly. It seems to pick up the guest access, and nothing else, but it doesn't show you there are any available connections. We've swapped out the laptop and was hoping a wipe would just sort the Toshiba out. James

Hi - I'm a technician at a school and am trying to re-install Windows XP on to a Toshiba Satellite Pro. I turn it on a press F12 for boot menu, I select LAN and all I get is beeping. I still get this after a BIOS reset. Any Ideas? James Warner

Hey I'm after a little help with something. I'm a technician at a school and we're looking to centralise our resources & ICT Rooms so they have to be booked via the Intranet. We want some FREE open source software that can allow staff to login and book rooms and resources as well as be able to integrate with Active Directory. We've looked at MRBS but can't get it to integrate with AD Structure. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in Advice. James
