I have no fact to base this on, however I was told that the Airport Express was only designed to handle up to around 10 devices at any one time....like I say, I have no evidence and have done no research on this, it is simply what I was told by an Apple reseller. Having said that, we put our 10 iPads through it and it handles it perfectly fine.

We use our VLE for this....currently with iScholaris....We're happy with it, although the same people who didn't use the old system (email/powerpoint) still don't use what we have now.

Kanye West headlining Glastonbury makes me glad I didn't bother trying to get tickets this year :-) We're off to Download Festival this year....Slipknot, Muse and Kiss headlining (plus Marilyn Manson, Blackstone Cherry, Motley Crue, Slash, Billy Idol, Judas Priest, Faith No More etc etc) . Better than Glastonbury by a country mile! -

I'm not sure I've ever been called a "speedy runner"...wish I could thank you more than once :-) Thank you all @HarryMonkey @Sam_Brown for the sound advice, I wholeheartedly agree with what you're saying in that I mustn't try to push myself too far too quickly. So I'm looking at doing some consolidating runs to drill in what I've achieved so far before I push it too much further. So I think my run on Thursday will just be the 25 minutes as set out by the C25K app. Having said that, I went out last night (having had the day break between runs as suggested) and started with week 7 run 2. Did the 25 minutes running as required by the app, then did an additional 8 minutes running (total workout of 43 minutes including the warmup/warmdown walking). Total distance covered 6.8km, average pace 6.15mins per km. 5Km running time of 28 minutes 30 seconds.

I'd never hide my admiration for an Arnie film :-) he does make an awful film brilliant (in some circumstances)

Week 7 run 1 last night, didn't want to go out as I was feeling rubbish but forced myself out anyway. Did the 25 minutes running the program asks you to do and was feeling pretty good, so I upped it... (i know this is probably going against what you're supposed to do, but did it anyway)...and ran the 5 minute cool down walk as well :-) Ended up with a 30 minute run, so it was a 40 minute exercise (including warm up and warm down) covering 6.3km with an average pace of 6 minutes 28 seconds. However, and here's the most exciting part, I did a full 5km run in that time with a run time of 28 minutes 56 seconds :-) Well on target to get my 1 hour 10k time in May, just need to up the distances and time out running :-) Think I'm going to abandon C25k at this point and push on alone.

Watched True Lies on Saturday night as it was on TV when we got in from the pub :-) Brilliant film, awful...but brilliant :-)

Company to sort out cabinet cabling/infrastructure?
Iain.Faulkner replied to BassTech's topic in Wired Networks
Yeh very true...it's truly a nightmare to troubleshoot at the moment. -
So I've reached the end of week 6 (finally) only 3 more weeks to go on the plan. Week 6 run 3 was 5 minutes walk, 25 minutes run, 5 minutes walk and in that time I ran 5.6km which I'm really quite pleased with. During the 25 minute run, I was running a nice steady pace of around 5:45 per km as well and it was very consistent, it certainly gives me hope of achieving my goal of running 10km in under 1 hour :-) My thoughts are now turning towards building my running up to the 10km mark (as I'm doing the Manchester Run in May)....does anyone have a bridge to 10k app they can recommend? Thanks Iain

Company to sort out cabinet cabling/infrastructure?

wow you have patch panels! We're looking to do something similar at this point.....but we have a vast number of our network points which have just had an RJ45 connector crimped onto the end of the cable and then plugged directly into the switch! -
We've got some of those as well, we're really happy with them :-)

I watched The Great Gatsby last night....felt a bit like a cross between Moulin Rouge and Sin City...certainly a bit weird, think it will need further viewings.

I've pretty much stagnated on the weight loss front...not really lost anything since last october...a couple of pounds up and down most weeks. But as a positive, I haven't gained anything :-) It's been nice to maintain for a decent amount of time. Struggling to get the motivation to really push on and lose more weight to be honest, but I am still 70lb's down from when I started (November 2013) and 93lb's down from my heaviest ever weight and am now hovering around the 15 stone mark :-) Good to hear people still doing so well :-)

Great work, well done :-)

We used to use MCC, but it wasn't as good once our account manager left. We now use GBM Digital and they are very good. A few of the companies named in this thread didn't seem interested in talking to us unless we were looking at doing a full 1 to 1 deployment (we did an initial rollout of 10 ipad minis with mac mini running OSX Server and struggled to get companies based south of Macclesfield to quote).
-
We go through Viglen, during the last quote process they were by far the cheapest (I've used them for licensing now for 7 years and nobody can get near to them).

I haven't seen the American version, but the British version from the early 90's is amazing, absolutely brilliant and I can definitely imagine Kevin Spacey being brilliant in the role.

I'm another one for violet and brown...... :-)
