If it were a particular type of takeaway....I would say Chinese. If I had to narrow it down to a particular thing, then I would have the banquet B from the New Garden Takeaway in Bramhall.....special mixed starter (spring roll, satay chicken, ribs, prawn toast, seaweed, pickled fish and pickled cabbage), 1/4 roast duck, sweet and sour pork, sizzling beef, special fried rice, vegetables, and apple fritter for dessert :-) Covers pretty much everything I could ever want :-)

Currently we tend to use Ergo as our main PC supplier (although we do speak to a number of suppliers each time we have a pot of money to replace some of our PC's). I used to really like the Ergo Mini PC 501, however they've now stopped supplying this and are instead selling a product called the Ergo Flex (same case as the Very PC Flex). As PC's though I like them, they have always been reliable for me and because we go through a bidding process each time we can buy PC's I know they are good value. 5 year warranty, can't complain with. We now have 100 Ergo PC's in school, and it's not often I have to make a warranty claim (maybe a handful in the 12 months we've been buying from them). Only slight issue was with the last bunch of PC's, the delivery was put back a few days due to a fault with usb slots on the motherboards.

Our new sixth form opened about two years ago...we got a Starbucks :-)

Half term here...not much on really. A few projector bulbs to change, 20 new PC's coming in so they all need reimaging, and then 10 of them have already been allocated for use around the school. So they'll go out and the old PC's then need reimaging and re-distributing. Then a few software installations as well. Other than that we'll work through our general jobs list and try and clear as much as we can. It is only a three day week though with the Edugeek Meet on Thursday :-)

Don't get me wrong, I want to be reimbursed, we put a lot of effort into that garden and put a lot of time into it. When we find the owner we will be looking to be reimbursed....with the Wife just about to finish getting statutory maternity pay we can't afford to throw away £500

we've got to find an owner though in order to claim against someone.... I meant it's probably not worth claiming on the insurance for given what our excess will be

We know a dairy farmer in the next village over, so we've sent him the pictures, hopefully he'll be able to help us. To be honest, the damage is probably no more than £500. Probably not worth claiming for.

Pretty close I would say....one of the farmers turned round and said that if the Police wanted to charge anyone with criminal damage they'd have to interview the cows....far from helpful.

we thought that as well, but they all seemed to have different numbers on the tags. We've given our photos to the police and they'll trace it hopefully. I've heard some udderly offal cow puns in the last 12 hours or so ;-)

They were pretty scary, and had started to get a bit restless...there was lots of pushing and shoving between them

The cows were herded out of the garden by two farmers....both of whom denied ownership of the cows.....

So I got home from work last night to find this.... There aren't even any cows normally near our house!! No idea where they came from.....thankfully they've been mooved on now though :-) They've destroyed the back garden though, fence panels smashed, the wife's spent a lot of time doing the garden planting veg and flowers and it's all been destroyed so she's, quite rightly, upset. Waiting for the police to track down the owner. I did need a few new Cow Puns last night though, so I entered "cow puns" into Google and the very first link brought me to Edugeek....we really do know everything about everything :-)

Weekly weigh in last night, another pound gone :-) 53lb's total loss....hoping to get to 4 stone (56 pounds) by the end of May :-)

I think this is a definite step in the right direction...as Witch said, remove the temptation (I notice that they are only doing this in their smaller stores) and it may only be a small victory but it is a victory nonetheless

Morning all, I'm trying to get Stencyl to deploy via msi...I've built the package, and it installs fine, but I can only run the software when logged in as a Domain Administrator. I've done a normal non msi install as well and I get the same issue. Essentially when you run the software as a regular user, you get a windows installer window, please wait while Windows configures Stencyl which appears to complete fine....but then nothing else happens (there's no processes running in the background that I can see either). I've already increased user access to the Stencyl install folder (ie given them read/write ability), but this made no difference. Any suggestions? Thanks Iain

I've bought a couple (got done by advertising in WHSMiths :-) )....I'm not sure If I'll be "collecting" as such, but may well be tempted to buy a few more :-) I was very happy though, in the two packs I've bought I got Itchy and Scratchy :-)

Weigh in last night at WeightWatchers....another 1.5lb off this last week, taking me to a total of 51lb's weight loss since November 6th last year :-) Started at 20 Stone 1lb (although I have been 21 Stone 10lb's as recently as December 2008)...now down to 16 Stone 6lb's :-) Lighter than I have ever been in my adult life, and my BMI is now under 30 so I am no longer obese :-)

That's great work @nephilim :-) Well done :-) I'm now down to a 38 inch trouser from being 46 just before christmas....it's cost me a fortune in new clothes!!

Years 7, 12 & 13 in here. Pretty quiet day....unless you count the power cut which took out our main comms room and Pc's across the school!

We shopped around, and the variance on the cost per fte though was pretty incredible. We have 200 employees that are classed as full time. There was easily £5 between some of the pricing, £5 at 200 people is £1000 which to us was well worth saving.
